Anyone know the diameter of the top feed from a Howe rad ?. I've been meaning to measure mine but haven't got round to it yet.

IIRC Stock injectors max out around 14.5 psi. Stock tubs run out of puff around 15.5 psi. Always best to have a saftey margin rather than pushing the car to the absolute limits.

What cooling are you running ?. Any upgraded Rad / IC's ?

If I'm honest mate I haven't got a clue where I was lol. It's up near Harlow, CM21 0LT is the postcode but Sat Nav show's it as an unnamed road. You won't be able to get a 300zx there though as it's off road for about 1/2 mile to get to the enterance of the place. I didn't realise this but it just so happens the 300zx was off the road still so I took the Beema.

It doesn't hurt as much as paintball. It's also not as messy, you don't have to stop every 20 mins to clean your goggles etc. It's also 75% cheaper to play than paintball. 4000 bb rounds will cost you 1/4 of the price of 4000 paintballs. My mate found out the hard way that he has to be honest when he gets hit. He denided being hit in the first game by a sniper with a laser sight. The next game the entire team was still shooting 2 seconds after he put his handup. He must have taken about 50 shots in those two seconds lol. Looked like he had measles when he took his top off.

After playing paintball for over 4 years, I attended my first airsoft session yesterday. It was a corporate event organised by a friend who works for fords. It was an absolute blast, don't think I've ever had as much fun playing paintball. So I decided last night that I'll be selling my paintball markers and kit and converting over to airsoft. Anyone else on here play either airsoft or paintball ?. If you've played both, which do you prefer ? If anyone wants to buy some paintball gear give me a pm and I'll let you know what I have.

The one downstairs is full with "sex in the city" and "in the night garden". Upstairs is stuff with "eastenders" and "ugly betty". what have I got ?. 1 episode of top gear and half an episode of don't blame the builder :(

I didn't even get to vote as it's now closed. Would have voted yes anyway. Of course. He's trying for the country, be it for the money, fame or patriot. He's putting us on the map and that's the important thing.

It's stillen front, with wings west sides and delined doors, custom wing west rear, stillen spoiler with Zcenter lip, Zcenter bonnet bulge, stillen headlight pannel. No need to say sorry, I agree with you, I like the agressive look, but it just doesn't flow. I do like the standard and it will probably solve my soggy Doolz problems that I keep having everytime it rains. Maybe I'll come to the next meet with a 10mm socket set and see if anyone is up for a quick fit and photo session so I can make up my mind what I want :)

Unfortunately not mate, but I think there may be an application available that you can download for it. It may cost a few quid though.

I went for the Iphone. If you go for the Iphone you get Sat nav for free along with loads of other nice goodies (i.e. free internet surfing, built in ipod, loads of applications you can down load from the apple store via the phone). Apps include everything you can think of, weather 5 day forcast anywhere in the world, GPS and google earth, MSN messenger, All of whihc are configurable via I-tunes. The only down side is that it doesn't have a video recorder and the shutter rate of the camera is very slow, soyou can only take pictures of stationary objects. Personally I think I would have preffered the new Omnia or even wait for the new Google phone to come out which has some very good reviews indeed and is released this month in the states. It's meant to be Iphones best competition.

I woul doffer them another chance. Make a point of saying that it needs to be perfect, not close with a few minor issue, but 100% spot on to your very high standards. If they then say it will never be 100%, then they blew thier chance.

In the Q and A section. he says the tubs and injectors were fitted by "mings" ??. I think he means "mines" but I got a feeling they are standard. No one in thier right mind would fit uprated tubs and injects and stay with a stock Rad, surely ?

So what's the rules towards fighting. I thought you were allowed to have a one on one at any point during the game without intevention ?. At least that's how I played 16 years ago at Romford Raiders :)

Really sad to hear this is still not sorted mate. Any thoughts on who you may go with yet ?. Have you visited any of the places to see thier finished article i.e. customers car finished, rather than a show car which they would have put 110% effort into just to get custom ?.

The car has been off the road for a week due to a burst pipe that connects the hard water pipes to the block. I had a few hours this weekend to do a little work on the car. I was hoping to get it all finished and back on the road, but a couple a couple of jubilee clips decided to give up the ghost and I didn’t have any spares so unfortunately it didn’t get finished this weekend. What I did get done was as follows: The front of the engine was stripped back to the timing belt. Radiator was removed along with all pipe-work, boost pipes and hard water pipes were removed. Cam covers and the rubber hoses that connect the hard pipes to the block (both of which were perished) were also removed. Flat surfaces were cleaned up. The balance bar, cam covers, strut mounts & throttle cover were all sprayed up and lacquered. The plenum was given a quick polish with autosol. I will clean up and detail the rest of the engine bay before the Radiator goes back in. New mounts and hoses were fitted and sealed. All coil packs were removed and spark plugs were examined (all were looking very healthy indeed). Coil packs were dismantled and new chrome brackets were installed (thanks to Slick Pete for rapid delivery and also for going out of his way to polish up some bolts for me). Unfortunately I didn’t have time to spray the coil pack base but I do intent to do this in the near future. Cam covers were refitted. Hard pipes were refitted and clamped into place. Engine filled with coolant/water via top hose. New braided Fuel hose installed. Throttle cover refitted and balance bar refitted (and sealed). Before anything else is done I’m going to look at replacing most of the jubilee clips with T-clamps as they are much stronger and more pleasing to the eye than jubilee clips. If I get some time one evening this week and have the T-clamps by then I should be in a position to get it all finished and back on the road once more.

You could always just ask the body shop to deline it. Had that done on mine.
