How the smeg are you supposed to plug the configuration lead into a laptop if all laptops have female connectors as do the diag leads.

I found out the hard way. I connected the wire back to itself and I now have a speed limit of 112 mph. So I guess the red wire from the speed defended was connected to this wire. I will splice the red onto the white and see if this sorts the problem out. Connection was 60 from ECU.

Thanks Chris. Any Idea what it should be connected to ?. I finished fitting the traction control and the car seems to run ok, everything works, but this wire is still not connected.

OK panic over. I was reading a site when the car was left hand drive which meant the ABS was behind the drivers seat. Took off the pannel and there he was. !!!!!

I can't see to locate my ABS unit. I thought it was supposed to be under the back seats behind the passenger set. But there is nothing there apart from an amp for the rear bose speakers. Anyone know where I can find it on my Jap spec G reg ?

Does your Car have a nissan or Z badge ? This is the easiest way to find out the spec. If it is a Z badge. Check behind the pannel in the passenger foot well to see if there is a speed defender installed. If there's nothing there. then it will be behind the dash. If there is still nothing then its a speed limit problem. Cost about £100 max and easy to fit yourself.

OK Zone alarm is free but Zonealarm cost money. However as always there is a hack :D... Go to download.com and download zonealarm pro. You will get a 30 days trial version. After the 30 days is up, do not choose to buy the software, instead you need to redownload it from download.com. When it tells you you already have zonealarm pro on your PC and asks you whether you want to remove the old version and re-install or upgrade, choose upgrade. This is then give you the full version of Zone alarm Pro without asking you for a security code. However you MUST go into the settings and uncheck the box which says automatically search for updates. That's just dam right rude (Jaxlox). I've had a look at the site and it looks like it needs a lot of funding. It's slow as fvck for a start and looks very disorganised. Hi Paul and others, The reason I am driecting this email at Paul is because he has what I am trying to do. which it fit my kenwood 6x9"'s into the door. Apart from cutting the pannel did you need to do anything else ?

Are they easy to fit ?. On a scale of 1 - 5. 1 being my nan could do it and she's in a zimmer frame and 5 being Get yourself a top engineer to do the job.

I jus had the 60k service on mine, water pump, cam belt thermostat new plugs, oil and filter change. I was getting about 240 - 260 miles per tank (town and motorway) but now seems to be getting 340 - 360. I hope that lasts. I was driving alittle like my mum for the first 100 miles or so to let the brakes wear in, but after that I had some hard spells. It's amazing how much petrol is used when your car is out of shape.

Can I ask when you got the side skirts from ?. I'm looking at getting the my car kitted with skirts and spoiler but the fitting and spaying that Zcenter charge is a little high. Can you find out (unles you already told us and I missed it) how much he would charge to paint the skirts and spoiler ?. I'm not sure if these need to be on the car first I imagine they will.

LMAO :D I just my car back from Jeff and it seems so much quicker now it has the correct spark plugs. I must admit I have been testing the 0 - 60 as well, but keep forgetting to stop the clock. I may be in with you soon for this group buy :(.

Yeah it's a shame the old lady parking option is not something we have. It would be nice as when you are going to these meetings you always take a wrong turn and have to do a U turn, not a problem for most people driving normal cars but for us in our Zed's it becomes a three point turn because the steering arch's on Zed's are so dam small.

How is leaving your engine running an offense ? May not look good to the iunsurance company but I can't see how it's an offense. I'll check that with my plod side of the family.
