I'm just wondering, how many times you can start a new thread asking exactly the same question  as the previous 3 ?
  8. To stay safe I would stick to 245 unless you are going to move up to a 9", then 265 will be ok
  9. Hmmmmmmmmm So what have you got that we haven't ? This is strange. Anyway I'm gonna check these vids out on winmx, may be able to get a few downloaded over the weekend.

  12. Make sure there isn't an angle grinder or Mig welder in sight :D Oops sorry I thought this was fight club :(
  13. I don't think there are any sensors in the 300zx that tells you its getting dark. Unless it's some kind of after market kit. My guess is that this light is on because when the car came over here it needed to have a rear fog lamp fitted in order to be legal in this country. A lot of people do a bodge job ad wire the fog lights into various 12v supply's around the car. I would check the wiring for this light (usually the right hand side reverse light). It may be a case that this has been wired up incorrectly and therefore your car thinks that the lights are on when they actually are not. As with Hicas the steering will tell you when to top up before the light comes on. You will feel a very slight vibration when turning the wheel, in extreme cases the wheel will wine at your whilst truning almost in full lock. I always know when I need to top up my Dextron as my steering wheel will give me the tell tale sign. You will get you know your cars requirements over time, before the car actually tells you itself.
  14. I guess he has the new no windscreen model of Zed :D

IT just so happens that I had yesterday off and I got bored and decided to strip out the entire boot, all pannels and back seat. Sorry to say but the standard rear speakers ar enot 6x9's they are more like 3x6's. I doubt that you would get these babies inside the rear speaker casing. Oh and before anyone tries it, the grill for both front and rear speakers only comes off from inside the pannel. If you try and pull it off from the outside you will break it along with the panel. I have decided to leave the original speakers in there and build myself a boot system. I've removed the spare tyre and the tool box and joined the RAC. Therefore if I do get a flat I just need to give someone a call. I'll put some pictures on my web site in the next week or so and let you have the address. It may give you some ideas.
  22. Brakes squel is due to the build up of Brake dust. You can buy something in Harry's (Halfords) called Copper ease. Rub this on the back of the pads and on the capilar. Your squeling days will be over.
