  1. Had same problem with mine. Found a decomposed Blue bottle in the line. fook knows how it got there. used a wire coat hanger and hey presto. Check inside the jets too. Oh and while you have your jets out, please don't be tempted to buy blue neon lights for them :D

Or When it rains real heavy next. Sit out in your car (back seat) for a few hours. You'll find it eventually.
  3. Jezz YGM. ;) Herman YGM as well sorry mate sent it again before I read this :(
  4. Eh Tony, you are half way there already mate. Both me and James go there and we from Kent and Essex :).
  5. 01942-671239 ;)
  6. Hi Herman ;) I haven't got the info with me this morning. Will mail you and Jezz as soon as I get home.
  7. oh sorry mate, I misunderstood :D ;)
  8. If you are talking about the switches in the pic with the white boot. I got a feeling that they are for the neon lamps :D. Kinda fits in with the white boots LMAO. Martinfa and Herman YGM !
  9. Thanks Paul. I'll try this at the weekend. I'm idleing at about 1,000 at the moment, 2,000 in the cold. sometimes when I take my foot off the acelerator and put it on the brake the car actually tries to speed up because the idle is so dam fast :D
  10. I thought TPS would also show on an ECU diag. Code 44 ???
  11. After speaking to our polish friend about the leather gators (boots) for the gear shift and handbrake. He has set up a group buy. The prices started a lot higher but since we now have over 25 people interested in these from other forums the prices have come down to their lowest: A set of boot (handbrake and gear shift) £24. Single boot £15. These come in all colours and even come with different colour stitching. If you compare this Italian leather to the ones they sell in Halfords for £28.99 you would expect to pay about £70 per boot. If you are interested send me a PM and I'll give you more info. The group buy closes on 22nd Jan so the quicker you respond the better.
  12. Very true this forum has saved me loads of money and I've made a few friends along the way too. Welcome aboard ;)
  13. Hi Mate, Well it should look and be positioned like this. It may just be that the pipes are on the other way. I don't really know what difference it would make. So if until you find out what the effects are I would leave it if it's not causing any problems.
  14. You can get loads form Kazaa but also rob and wendy have quite a few on their site http://bagpuss.swan.ac.uk/dunk300zx/.
  15. Only if you keep it disconnected for more that 30 mins.
  16. You can disable the chime your self it's very easy. Just check this link out http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/Alarm.htm
  17. Once you have done that you still got to do the hard part and that is squeeze you hand up this gap and try and change the part. Good luck :p
  18. In that case the only way to it it via the rear quarter panel by the ABS ECU. :( Not easy to get to but then the Japanese do have small hands :D. I recently changed the bushes on my gear stick. so I know what you are going to have to go through. :(. It's a tight squeeze mate.
  19. I even warned you that I put mine on the wrong way :D. I bet you wish you had paid more attention when you were tkaing it off. LOL. The domed end points towards the battery which leave the front end to point to ward the front of the car. F.T I would check yours mate because it's either been put on the wrong way round or you have some after market fuel filter. ;) Hi James. It's not something stupid like reconnecting the fuel pump relay is it ?. I know mine took a while to start after a few attempt at turn over. You are getting a turn over right or is it just completely dead ? Run a ECU diag mate and look out for the error code 43. If you get that then you done something wrong with your TPS ;). You may have shorted this out. You got MSN up and running yet ?
  20. Hi Mate, I've been looking around on the net to try and find something to help you out but I couldn't find anything. :( Is the bit you need to change on the door or in the quarter panel ?
  21. So James how did you get on ?. All done or have you put it off for another day. ? ;)
  22. As long as it's changed when th engine is cold you are ok. the warmer the engine the more pressure in the pipes. Just to be on the safe side you can remove the fuel pump relay and start the engine until it stalls. This will ensure there is no preassue in the pipe work. There will still be fuel in the pipes though so get your kitchen roll or old towels ready. Changed mine last weekend. :) But then I put mine on back to front because I'm such a donut !!!. Don;t worry I realised before I'd finished thejob and I didn't start the car :).
  23. Well I guess that's the answer then. Fuel pressure regulator or pump. So it's normal. :) Geese it's hard work trying to find fault in my car LOL. :D
  24. Well in that case he's obviously a little bit on the stupid side :)
