Hi all, I need help ! ;) You're probably going to tell me where to go with this one, but would anyone like to help me out getting a few 300zx's on my home page ?. I've set up two picture galleries. One for meetings and another entitled "Your 300zx's". At the moment I've only got my car on there. All I need it 6 photo's, front, rear, side, interior, engine and boot (with or without ICE). I know some of you have these already in the rides section, but I don't want to put them on my site without your permission. Anyone want to help me out ?

I placed my order about 3 months ago, but they are not shipping it until the start of March, there's a big waiting list :(.

Well it's 12:30 now and the meeting is well under way. But I'm not there :(. I think I've sorted the problem though so I'm just getting changed and heading off. Fingers crossed and wish me luck !!!

The smok is a dark grey (not blue) so I agree that it's got to be one of the injectors. Which are alot cheaper than a pair of turbo's LOL. However I think Fat Tony hit on something when he said have you beed woking on anything. Yeaterday while fitting Traction Control for a friend, I had to check the wiring on mine so I unscrewed the ECU. I think I may have broke a connection on one of the injector wires when I put it back. That's the first thing I'll check this morning. Thanks guys

Took the car out tonight, all runing nicley, Then, I went to do a U turn and all of a sudden, the char starts doing it's impression of Chitty Chitty bang bang and starts putting and hopping. then when I stopped I got loads of smoke coming out of the back. I spoken my mate Jay :D, who thinks it's an injector coil as there was only smoke from one side of the zorst. It also seemed to correct itself but then decided to go again. I'm going to check the connectors tomorrow morning, anything else I should be checking ?

Hi Mate, I'm fitting Traction control for someone on Saturday, not sure how long its gonna take me. Hopefullyit will only be a few hours and i'll be done by the afternoon. Not all of em mate. Some don't have targa panels at all. Just a plain hard no removable roof. What a nightmare that must be !!!. Jan's wife has a black SWB which is not a T bar !.

I was looking to get new Shocks. I was thinking about koni's but apparently the Nissan ones are very good. Has anyone had new nissan shocks recently ?. How does it drive ? Any hop at the back opn rapid acceleration ?.

I'm with you on that one Stuart. I too use only auto glym products. Shammy is always done. The car gets washed every weekend, even if it's raining. This includes opening the dorrs , boot and bonnet and cleaning the seals. Only optimax touches my petrol tank. I was out repairing small holes in the zorst with gun gum in the dark and rain on tuesday nihgt. I was also rubbing down my tail pipes with wet and dry, took me about an hour to do but the chrome finish without any rust looks the nuts, shame I'll be getting a SS zorst within a month :(

Once the car has been running for a while check to see if you can hear the coolant bubbling. If so feel the two pipes connected to the resevoir, they should both be hot. If one of them is cool then it's a tell tale sign that the thermo has ceased. My Mate had the same problem last month with the BMW I sold him.
