WEll I'm not at work to day James and I'm fitting my Induction and Slam panel :). I got a feeling it's really easy to fit the induction but I tell you something ... taking the standard box off is a pain in the Sh|tter !!!!!. Taken a break at the moment. If you are bored at the weekend give me a shout. I need to sort some bits out on my car that I think you have alread done, like TPS, connectors etc. May be we could share the knowledge. Well maybe you could teach me more like LOL.

Excellent thanks all. Sorry about that Smithy, It was late and I'd had a few beers. I'm getting old now (pushing 30) ;). My memory isn't what it used to be LOL. Will fit that and the apexi induction kit today although I'm having problems with my Japanese at the moment. anyone got a link to the english version of the fitting instructions for the Apexi. It looks fairly straight forward but I wouln't mind reading as well as following the pretty pictures :D

Can anyone tell me what this is I just bought off of smithy ?. Looks nice and shiny and I remember ordering it for some reason but I can't remember where it goes or it's purpose. I remember Smithy saying something about pushes air twards something.

I also have squeeky clutch pedal on pressing only, Then again I can't hear it when I release because I have my foot on the gas :D. Maybe it's the hampsters again !!!!

Most upgraed pedals need to be drilled to fit the car. Unless someone makes them for 300zx's. By Law you are only required to have rubber on the brake pedal. Even if this means little rubber studs on a metal pedal.

I have a 3 way valve. But I'll try it anyway. She's moaning about it being cold and if she keeps monaning I may forget to tell her that the water may be a little hotter than normal. :D Only kidding I couldn't do that to my missus :(

Thanks Nick, I'll visit the plumbers yard over the weekend. I have got a temp controller on the boiler. I'll turn it up tonight see what happens. Not sure what make it is as my house was built in the 1930's and to be honest I'm sure the boiler has never been changed. It's behind a wall in the chimney breast which in turn is behind a fireplace which is behind a cabinet (build to hide the fireplace - don't worry it is heavily vented ;) ). Hence I don't have a manual. I'm pretty sure that the one on there was also the original. It hasn't had a casing on it since I bought the house (7 years ago) and it was falling to pieces. The mrs kept going on at me to change it so I bought another switch and looked at the wiring diagram and put it off for a year. She kept nagging so I decided to change it over. She's been freezing her cods off now for a few days. That will teach her Muhahahahahaha ..... evil !!! :D.

Hi Guys, I'm pretty when it comes to DIY, but I've really fallen at the hurdles on this one and need some help. I wouldn't have asked but we have had no heating now for 3 days. I have bought three different room temperature control switches (thermostat control), but I can't get any of them to work. Where I have taken the old one off (it got broken, so is no longer any use), I have the three basic wires Netrual, Live, Earth. (blue, brown, Green/yellow). I think I have wired the switch up as per the wiring diagram (which to be honest I don't fully understand). I have also tried various combinations of the wires, obviously some blew the trip straight away. Nothing seems to work. My next port of call will be an electrician. But just before that can anyone help ? :rolleyes:

Remind me tomorrow when I get it out of the box. Batteries are charging up on the camera at the moment. I'll take a snap and send it to you. But if you want something that looks good. Zcenter do a twin pop which look sthe nuts. Still only as good as a single though.

Blitz, HKS, Apexi or K&N are th ecommon favorites for the 300zx.
