oh I also forgot to say, the dam thing didn;t even need new bushes. The previous owner decided that putting the nut back on the bolt was too hard so he left it off. What an idiot, that's the reason every gear felt like neutral.

with a wobbling gear lever even when it's in gear. I had this so decided to change the gear lever bushes. I found an article on TT.net saying it would only take about 45 mins max. Fook me.... 4 and a half bl**dy hours I was out there in the snow. My hands are still bleeding as I type and I still can't feel my toes :mad: But at least my gear shift is nice and stiff now (oo-er). So if anyone is thinking of doing this to their car to make the gear change nice and stiff. I say Don't even bother !!!

Really Sorry to Hear that Chris, especially after the amount of money you spent on it to make it look the dogs _____. And also being without your car so long and only having the please to drive it again for a month or so. But at the end of the day it looks the nuts mate so you can stil stand proud. anyway you don;t need to get into thrid when your cruising around on a saturday night checking out the honeys :D

there is a link to a site somewhere where the fuse cover is translated into english. I'm not sure where I saw this last. I'll have a look around for you. I'd reccomend getting that fuse cover though. It will reduce the corrosion on the fuse connections.

Hi All, Has anyone replaced their gear stick Gator ?. Mine is looking a bit shabby and has got a little chewed up after puting a new gear knob on a few months ago. If anyone knows a place that sells these I would be very greatful. Thanks

Thanks Mark, I'll remember that. They have had to order them for me. But at £1.90 it's gonna be the cheapest thing I've ever done on the car. I'm also looking at sub frame spacers to stop the rear skipping, but Nissan don't sell these. Any ideas where I can get some from ?

ok thanks Paul, so what gas do they use now ?. I'm just wondering as my mate works for saab and he can sort me out if I use the same gas as they have in the workshop.

So if it's illegal does this mean when we need to regas our AC rad, we need to swap them from UK spec ones ?

Slowest Bike I've ever owned was an ER5 which is 0 - 60 in about 6.2. Fastest was the ZX12R which did it in about 3. I think some Harleys are lucky to get under 7 sec. :(

Excellent glad I could help. Funny you should mention it but it seems that I had my fuel leak from exactly the same clamp as you. My site is growing by the week. Everytime I do something new with the car it gets put in there :) . Remeber to tone down the pressure in the fuel lines before changing the filter.
