Temp should be in the middle or lower. Around 750 RPM is ideal, however mine runsat 900 at the moment, but I guess its just a contact clean up and a TB clean should sort that out. You need to enter Diag mode to see the error codes. Unbolt the floor panel (passenger side foot well). Turn the screw on the side of the ECU fully clockwise leave for 2 seconds and then turn fully anticlockwise. Turn the ignition on (do not start the car). The ECU LED will flash as will the eninge check light. You are looking for 5 long flashes followed by 5 short flashes. This means all clear, anything else then there is a problem. If I were you I would get someone else to check the car mechanically. The last thing you want to do is buy a 300zx that is kicking out blue smoke because the turbo seal are blown. Make sure that when you vie the car it is in the morning, so the car is still cold. If the car has purposly been warmed up awaiting your arrival, walk away.

Yeah I got a BMW 318is coupe but the battery keeps going flat because I use it about once every 3 weeks when myself and the missus need to go shopping. I can't stop driving the 300zx. We even had to take her sister and mum to Lakeside and instead of taking the BMW we took the 300zx and crammed them in the back. I just can;t help it I don't want to drive another car. LOL I attached a picture of the two together just as I'm about to jump start the BMW again. LMAO !!!!.

I fixed that dam sticking petrol flap. Very simple but not as it should be. After taking out the interior passenger side of the boot and taking off the flap. I unbolted the switch expecting to find some sort of adjusting screw or bolt - but no.... nothing in site. So I though right lets cheat. I got out a sharpe knife and carved a few thick slices of the plastic off. Now it works first time every time. Also fixed mt Targa bits that are supposed to pop up when you take the panels off. Mine were seased so I gave em a good seeing to and them bolted them back. What purpose do these serve ? Did a few other bits but I'm sure you are bored enough.

I doubt that will fit a standard Zed. I have a feeling you will need to modifiy the front bumper to get this baby to fit.

Dam you beat me to it. I was just playing under my engine and realised that the AIV noise is the front fender noise not the recirc. Its the old drill a hole trick. Sorry for being a little slow tis morning. I'm still a little ill :(

Oh yeah, I also changed the side indicators as well. :D

Done by me Fitted Traction Control. Retrimmed interior. Fitted Turbo Timer. Oil & Filter Change. Replaced Side inicators (very hard :D) Got someone else to do it 60k service. Brake upgrade.

Hi 1) Petrol smell - Remove the plastic engine cover on the top in the centre. You will see the fuel lines coming from the fuel filter - tighten EVERY clamp you can see/can't see (sounds daft but have a good look with a torch and you will find them ) This should cure the fuel smell. If the clamps are already as tight as they will go, replce either the clamp or both the clamp and the hose - about 3 foot of fuel pipe should do the lot I think - measure first though (Reply I got when I asked Andyduff). 2) 10/40 should be the lowest quality, but if you can afford it go for 0/40. 3) These clocks are a little on the sensative side. I too had the same problem. Get with AndyZ to see if he has a second hand one going cheap. They are about £165 from nissan but you can get one from AndyZ for around £35. I think AndyP repairs thse so you may want to have a word with him. 4) Can't tell without looking at your car if it has been modified. The next meet is on the boarder of Essex and Kent.
