The AIV's Cool the cat's down and throw extra air into the cat on deceleration IIRC. If you remove these you risk burning your cats out, but to be honest if you are removing them later I doubt it will make much difference TBH.

You are usually looking as a minimum of £600. The plenum will have to come off so that's another £100 in gaskets, then you'll need to remap the chip in your ECU so you're probably looking close to the £700 - £800 mark without any labour. Have a word with Chris@GetGreddy he may be able to get you a good price.

She'll be fixed by the end of Feb and hopefully looking better than ever :hyper:. But until then I'm gonna patch her up and keep her sweet. Could it be fuel related. I haven't got a clue here I'm just asking, but how does the fuel rail work ?. Is it constant pressure to all injectors or does it flow in a non loop way if you know what I mean. If it does then maybe there isn't enough fuel in 6 when giving it full shout at say 15- 16 psi on stock injectors.
