Radiators are folded ali. The air flows through the IC to cool it. The air will come out the other side and flow through the radiator. At least that's the theory anyway ;)

They are very good but I fear they are now under powered :(. I think my amp is only 600W so I may need to upgrade that as well :(.

I got them from mcs-direct, picked em up for about £110 each.

Although I'm probably going to go for some Vega's at some point in the near future. I got a couple of JBL's at a really good price. I thought my old subs sounded pretty good but these ones really kick, I'm spent most of the morning fixing rattles that I didn't know I had with the other subs. Most of the rattles were coming from where the rear windscreen siper motor is, a few connectors were hitting the metal work, all rattle are now gone and I have to say I'm really happy with the soud that these babies kick out. Here's a picture of my old subs (250W) next to my new subs (1600W) :hyper:

It's a semi hardening compound called liquid red. You can get this from your local halfords.

Ah right I thought he meant the bolt itself. I used a dab of red semi hardening on my balance bar to get a nice seal, but as Mac says you probably won't need it, just put it back on.

I don't think there is a seal under it. The thread goes straigh into the balance car. I woul dpu t a small about of thread lock at the top of the bolt (i.e. near the head), as this stuff sets hard and you don't want any excess in your plenum as you know where that will end up ;)

Could be a few things. Some times the ptu connection can come loose and you will loose a cylinder. however this is usually cylinder 1 or 6 as they are at the end of the connector. I doubt the loose connection to the ptu is the problem. If it's the top left cylinder (looking at the engine from the front of the car facing the rear) then it's cylinder 5. I would start by cleaning the PTU connections, then test the the connections through the PTU. Looking at the PTU connection it has three prongs on one side and two on the other. With the two prongs at the top cylinder 5 will be the 3rd wire on the left. If all is fine then I would test resistance from pin 5 on the PTU to pin 12 on the ECU. You may have a break in the wire somewhere.
