Flames
Hi Chopper, By simply decatting your car you will not get flames. You need to overfuel by using a chip or AFC. Macca's actually flamed now and again due to this AFC. If you want a proper flame then you need to got for the flamer kit. I believe you can get coloured gas for this as well. You may want to extent your zorst as well or you risk burning your bumper off. Not my cup of tea personally, but each to their own no matter what car you drive. I mean I've got neons FFS LOL .

Get well soon James300
Some of you may be wondering where James has been for the last few days. Well James got a bit carried away with modifying his car and decided to take the Nelson "Mass reduction" Route. He was rushed into hospital on Thursday with appendix problems. He is still in hospital minus an appendix and will be trying solid foods again today. He may be discharged from hospital some time tomorrow. If he's still there I will be going up there tomorrow evening to take him some porn and try and make him laugh to see how much it hurts . If he is still in tomorrow and anyone wants to take some time out to see him, or even wants me to pass on a get well wish. Post up here and if I don't get it to him, I'm sure he'll be online a fair bit towards the end of the week, so he'll have a chance to read them all. Get Well Soon James  !!!

Thanks Guys, The PDF that Tony linked should do the trick. I'll let you know if I manage to sort it as I'm sure others will have the same problem at some stage.

Power Id problems
Thanks Chris, No I haven't got the instruction manual as I bought it 2nd hand. Mike, Yeah, when I go into calibration mode it says drive at 25mph and press enter. I do this and it says "calibration error !". I tried again at a slower speed and got the same thing, however I managed to set the calibration, but I needed to do a minimum of 35 mph. So this is no use at all, as the power i-D thinks I'm doing 25 when I'm actually doing 35. Mike / Chris or anyone else. Can you see if there is anything about this in the manual ?. I can't seem to find an online version of this so if anyones got a photo copy lying around there's a few beers in it for you :D.

Brown Stuff
That's not oil, it's rust. I had the same problem. You have a fair amount of rust build up inside the rad (may be caused by rad weld or some other kak product). This eventually causes blockages, which in turn cause the car to over heat. I would suggest flushing the Rad completely, taking it out for a spin and then flushing again. This should solve most of your problems, you still need to find out where it's leaking from, I'm guessing it's the overflow (due to the blockages). Personally I did it the easy way and got a new rad  LOL ;)

Power Id problems
I fooking hope the two weren't related  Ok, so before the convertor would be the speedo or the ECU ? What is before ? which direction are we travelling ? Just tried the ECU side and I can't calibrate anything below 35mph. I'll take the dash apart as soon as I get a spare hour and try that side. Thanks Chris. Any other suggestions in the meantime ?. anyone know where I can get the harness that links the power ID to the ECU ?

video hosting anyone
Erm Half a gig is gonna be hard to host, the first problem you are going to have is sending it to someone. If you get hold of Pinicle studio 8 Kazzaand make it into a wmv or mpeg file you should get the size down to a few meg.

NTL Blows Goats
Got home tonight to find that the downstairs Cable and broadband is not working :(. Phoned them up and ddid all the usual stuff, i.e. reset's and new signal sendings etc. But I still have zero channels and no internet (I'm using the missus PC upstairs, which works fine on the other set top box). NTL want to send an engineer out but the earliest they can send it is next mondday FFS, so I'm not very happy. So I won't catch any of you guys on MSN and I doubt I'll be on here much either (funny enough I'm very busy at work at the moment).

Power Id problems
I have just fitted my Power Id which I bought of one of the GTO boys. I had a quick demo of it in his car so I know it works. However after fitting it to my car. I have connected up the Speed wire to the ECU (Yellow/Green). But when I try to calibrate it I'm getting a calibration error. I have done a search and I know ZedHot had the same problem as I am having at some stage. He did manage to sort this out but he does not say how he managed to fix the problem. Anyone fitted a power ID, that can help ?
