  1. Having had a wonder around JAE last year, I was shocked at how many s2000's were showing fairly serious tin worm! Not something I thought would happen to them, now it might just be the bunch of cars I was looking at but the chap I was walking around with noticed the same! My boss had an S2000 and loved it, infact he had two but I do think as a daily they might be hard work, quite a thirst for oil as well. The 350z is a nice car far more usable but probably heavier on juice. I would go for the 350 as i feel its a much more substantial car and one you could live with every day!
  2. So thats 8500 in the last two years?! lol Irony being its about all the big posters that have replied to this topic, I wonder why we've all got such high post counts!
  3. very cheap! To be fair it wasnt the best advert. Looked nice though, for stock as a rock would need a manual conversion though! I wonder who got it!
  4. Fronts sound far to wide to me, mine are 235/40/18 on a similar wheel. Also I wouldnt look to change those tyres anyway I cant imagine they are particularly suitable to keeping 300bhp/300lbft or so in check. I would get your car checked as it sounds like its been badly repaired after an accident. Why on earth has it got one adjustable tension rod and one standard tension rod?!?!? The car needs checking for arm and suspension damage to make sure things are not bent underneath.
  5. Not sure if anyone said, but we used to have one... ;) Basically fun for a few days/couple of weeks then it got boring and that was that!
  6. Hello mate, welcome to the elite subbed club! Nice looking rear panel!
  7. You have a valid point! I suppose its the mentality of it really doesnt matter if I bend this. If you can afford to be without, i,e its not your pride and joy you really have no fear and dont care. Its looking good though mate! Always liked the idea of a 6 pot compact, when your done with it let me know lol Before you break it for bits ;) I might have it as a trackday giggle!
  8. Awesome! looking good mate! I always thought it was a shame the UK never got the compact with a 6 pot motor! Looks a right giggle, V8 time if it goes pop??! :D
  9. Looks great there are some fab v8's on YouTube which are petrol powered they sound awesome for something so small!!

Only if you're coming and paying! I cant afford to buy all these fat sods breakfast ;) lol However if you do come, I will get yours as you paid last time!
  11. Very good, not quite the same thing but this is my personal favorite!
  12. Ah dear mate, did you get a reg plate for the car that clipped you? Any witnesses?
  13. Comedy! But what a shame, looked a good shell actually! Obviously put up one last fight, its gutting for us as the currant owners but Imagine back in 199x when someone was waiting for that car to arrive from the dealership so excited, it was brand new! To look at it there would probably bring a tear, if I ever had a brand new car I think it would to me!

Grand job! Its not normally hugely expensive, have you any places in mind? Well u better get on and finish it then rather than spamming the forums ;) Really? I thought they were pretty good, I know people got lower numbers than they were expecting, but lets be honest I think my M3 on a 97 plate was the newest car there, the power figures were not ego enflating but were probably accurate! lol Any thoughts on somewhere you would like to go? Since you're welsh an all you might know somewhere down those parts ;)
  15. 330d Sport - All the car anyone ever needs! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201217467135281/sort/default/usedcars/fuel-type/diesel/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/model/3_series/make/bmw/postcode/la46hb/radius/1500/page/1?logcode=p All joking aside, a nice quick car that will do well on juice, a friend and I got his to the nurburgring on one tank of diesel, 604 miles or so! Why does it have to be turbo? He could use the chance to have a proper car ;) http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201217467209298/sort/default/usedcars/price-to/3000/fuel-type/petrol/maximum-mileage/up_to_100000_miles/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/model/3_series/make/bmw/page/3/radius/1500/postcode/la46hb?logcode=p
  16. I have emailed the North Wales chaps to see if they fancy a joint rolling road with the NW area, anyone up for it? No details as yet although I had considered going back to Neston where we werea couple of years ago at Dyno demon, the alternative that I know and trust is TEG sport up near Carnforth (dam handy for me, not so handy for everyone else!) Thoughts and suggestions would be most welcome!
  17. Lol hellfire, not sure what I was expecting but that sounds alot! Would it not have been cheaper to have an 89+ box rebuilt with better internals?
  18. Car looks fabulous mate! Good luck with it all. I had a question about your 98+ gearbox, did you buy it direct from nissan? Any chance you wouldnt mind sharing the cost? PM me if you like! :)
  19. Looks shite, sound shite, is shite. Tire stretch = shite...
  20. Awesome looking pile of parts mate! Good luck with the build, I wish I could do that! :D in time maybe. Love those pistons!
  21. Remember chaps dont just read the first one! there are loads!
  22. Hmm sounds good to me! :) What sort of time? My other half is going to a show on saturday afternoon was thinking I could perhaps slip down then if it was convenient? PM me a price if you wouldnt mind! thanks mate!
  23. Is that a while I wait/assit service ;) hehe
  24. I think your going to have to go with an open mind. Bearing in mind the standard GTR will be producing more than its book of 276bhp well known fact they were considerably more powerful than nissan stated. Against an automatic zed? From a standing start I think you'll need all the luck in the world!
