Was fun......lol.... The engine was rebuilt about 2 years ago with new bearings, gaskets, literally everything done.... and has sat in car since then waiting to be finished and run...... The oil and filter were done a few months ago, new plugs, antifreeze, refilled transmission..... Belt was Nissan OEM and has done 10 miles and was a full new belt kit..... I just wish I had used a genuine Nissan water pump rather than pattern part.....

PASSED THE MOT.......... yay...... failed this morning on bulb out, ABS light on and front brake flexi pipes not secured..... Came home, changed bulb, fitted rubber grommets on brake lines and found ABS sensor on o/s/f was not connected (missed reconnecting when dropped engine in)..... Went back and she sailed through....... Then on way home had a loud bang....... water all over the road....... viscous fan wobbling everywhere and water gushing from under water pump....... aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh.... Hopefully just water pump........ but need to get underneath and have a look now..... but she is insured and MOT'd now....... next is tax disc and mend her..... lol Good water pump..... managed to last 2 years sitting there, then 10 miles...... trying to work out what caused this to fail.....

Jesus mate..... thats bad..... I won't be using them.... Thieving B******d's..... I would write to their head office and point out that you will never be using them again and recommending friends and work colleagues to do the same.... Might be an idea if anyone has to rent a vehicle to get pictures from all angles before leaving their compound to cover ourselves??

I gave up on car till tomorrow...... but....... did strip off the peeling coating on my rear boot blind and wrapped in carbon fibre film and I actually like it. It looks better than peeling, flaking, brittle old vinyl..... lol Here is my effort for this evening........lol

Now that is a good idea..... It did kick out when I pulled out of my road today.......I pulled away as if I was in my saab 9-5 aero front wheel drive auto...... won't be doing that again...... lol I must admit I grinned and was happy for a moment.......lol I need to get some practice with back end steeping out again........ Last time I had a go doing that was my friends Iroc Z28...... I miss the Chelmsford Police skid pan...... that was fun..... lol

Nooooo they were made for recirc valves and would not fit dump valves...... my Ford Orion 1600E Turbo had one....... but then I was 21 and used to cruise round Southend Seafront......lol Now I don't want that dump sound....... getting old..... no lairey body kits.......AAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH...... I have become my dad!!!!!! I will never join a golf club though...........lol

side skirts, rear bumper and boot spoilers are C1 veilside were imported from veilside and cost a small fortune.... these.... The front bumper was an original C1 but was replaced by my old insurance company twice after someone reversed up my driveway to turn round and smashed it to pieces..... twice!!!! I was told they had got the repairer to order one from veilside...... turned out they got a copy and then refused to order a genuine one as they had put the car back to how it looked prior to the accident.... Ombudsman agreed that the insurance company had fulfilled their obligation and I had no case to force them to use veilside when a copy/pat. part was available at a cheaper price..... I was not happy...... but had no choice....... Bloody insurance company screwed me..... original... my copy... Easy spot is the indicators on copy and original they are not there......

Mine will go in the loft as they are getting rarer because people keep beating them to death with hammers.........lol Maybe worth money in years to come....... lol

The recirc valves are standard and were 2nd hand untested....... as soon as I connect the vacuum pipe, the N/S one is making her miss and run very lumpy..... Recirc plugged? With the pipe removed she runs smoothly...... Thanks again Si......
