Hi everyone, I have remembered or should I say realised that my Z is most definitely......... NOT my Front wheel drive SAAB 9-5 Aero estate ...... It is a rear wheel drive (I want to go sideways) devil in disguise........ I keep making the mistake of forgetting which car I am driving and pulling away a bit toooooo quickly for the road and traction to handle....... basically sideways (unintentionally)....... I had edged out in traffic the other day and went to pull away when some boy racer moron doing about 50 in a 30 with his modified corsa nearly took out the side of me..... he slammed on the brakes and I floored it out of the way.... Unfortunately I ended up sideways drifting down the road with the front of my Z facing his drivers door....... I then needed a change of underwear and to clean my leather seat....... I seem to have a slippery set of rear tyres or I have forgotten how to drive a rear wheel drive over the 7 years of driving sensible family cars that are (boring) sorry, front wheel drive! OMG, I seriously need to get used to rear wheel drive again and not forget what car I am in and ease down the accelerator....... Not do the stamp it into the floor I do on the saab when I want to pull away a bit sharpish..... Fine on Saab estate....... Scary as hell on my Z.... I have decided to add a post it note to my dash reminding me I'm in the Z........ I need to remember to respect her and take it easy or I will write her off, lose my driving licence or die in a crash....... None of which are good..... So turning down the boost to 9 Psi and going with the post it note for a temporary reminder...... So far having my 5 year old in car with me has made me poodle everywhere carefully..... he just loves the loud exhaust and cruising.... And if he is in the car....... I drive very carefully as he is the most precious cargo I could carry........ Sorry, just thinking out loud here......... lol

Went to pick up my 5 year old from school in her and smelt petrol...... found the small hose from the fuel rail to the fuel pressure regulator had split..... the only hose I didn't replace..... lol Done it now and rewired the remote start sensor wire for my clifford..... just need to reprogram tomorrow and should be starting from my remote for those cold mornings so I don't drive her before getting to running temp...... my new acquisitions....... Just waiting for my White, Blue and Red LED's to arrive decide which I want and then back light them and fit........ lol

You need an A130 Z32bolt...... A lovely long flat straight'ish road....... lol I used to use a friends driveway as he had a huge house in the country with a long straight driveway........ know anyone with a farm and a nice straight private road?

Have you ever sold aftermarket body kits for Z's?......... lol

That's not funny..... It's a very serious problem nowadays since going Digital...... millions are starving because of people like you stopping wrapping with Vinyl...... Hi guys, now I finally have her on the road........ are there any tickets available so I can come and chill out with you all? I don't fancy sitting in a car park on my own......

He's not that clever........lol His nickname was 'Dimebar' when we used to all go clubbing..... great business brain, but absolutely zero common sense......lol If you told him it would turbo charge his car he would believe it.......lol Put it this way..... he bought my old snap on top cab for what I bought it for, just so he could store his sponge for his car cleaning business.......... lol

Now I am upset....... I would have paid at least £1.05 for that......... as I know someone I could have sold this to...... he has no common sense........lol

I adjusted the drive belts to get rid of the squealing when I floor it and it is loads better...... I then went for a little sideways action at a friends industrial estate and found out just why you need to respect a Z...... Had a bit of drizzle and was playing about seeing how she pulls away....... and well........... sort of gave my mate in the passenger seat a sudden need to change his underwear....... lol got a bit over enthusiastic as we were on private land and completely drifted round friends unit with my mate screaming and grabbing the dash and pillar..... lol I remember my N/A being fun....... but she is now scary...... but oh so much fun away from public places..... I wouldn't do this on a public highway, just in case anyone gets the wrong idea..... lol There's a time and a place for being a tit.......... lol I also got the audio set up and my ears felt like they were in heaven again........ crystal clear, no distortion and very loud..... All I need now is the missing bass notes....... lol I am sooooooo happy now.......:biggrin::thumbup::big grin:

I would think so..... mine was when I replaced it about 10 years ago..... not sure how loose though as it was long time ago and my memory is bad......

I'm up in Norwich for anniversary from 11th to 13th April and was going to see who is about........... BUT......... just been threatened by wife not to arrange to meet anyone as she put it' "It's our anniversary, NOT A BLOODY CAR MEET!"........lol Unfortunately for her.... we are taking the Z....... lol My argument was she chose the hotel, the location and all the activities....... So I chose the transport.......lol So if you see me driving round Norwich that weekend...... feel free to say hello...... lol
