What did you do to your zed today?
Got 10 minutes to wrap my sail panels in carbon fibre textured vinyl..... Covers up worn panel nicely..... Pair Scissors, trim removal tool and a hairdryer were all that was required and took no time at all.......... I still have to refit the window trim as it needs some cleaning to remove a few years of muck stuck into the inner felt..... Was a tad green...... lol

Reclaiming Pothole Damage to Alloy Wheel ..........
Sorry to hear about this Apache...... I had this years ago and got 2 wheel2 out of the 4 paid out for..... Unfortunately the wheels were no longer available to buy and they refused to pay for a set as only 2 were damaged...... so cost me 2 and the council 2 for me to get car back on the road.... manhole cover had collapsed hole next to it so metal cover popped tyre off rim as i dropped into the hole.... Took me ages to get them to acknowledge and pay out, they wanted insurance details, photo's, witnesses, etc.... Luckily the shop owner opposite had called them the week before and reported the hole, yet they had done nothing...... I was told to use a fag packet stood up on its edge to show perspective and height as that is about the size of a hole that they consider for damage claims..... That is why I carry fags and smoke still.....:whistling: Don't give up..... you can check to see if anyone else reported the hole to the council under freedom of information request I believe...? They take our taxes and don't repair the roads......

Today I have had a nightmare...
I helped out a friend by mending her Parrot bluetooth fitted to her new car...... All seemed good after spending 2 hours stripping the stereo and dash, plugging back in the connector that had come out of the Parrot control unit and putting it all back together.... She gave me £20 for my time and all was good in the world...... Then I got a text this evening that her airbag light was on...... After some research when I finished work today......( good old google search ).....lol I found out the airbag light on the dash cannot be unplugged or it causes the airbag system to see a fault...... and it had popped out when I was removing the stereo trim..... Only way to reset this is with the VAG reset tool or main dealer..... costing about £40.........DOH..... So I am now going to have to explain this tomorrow and pay for the reset...... this will now cost me £20 to help a friend out....... I don't like VW's...... lol Sorry just not having a good day as this money was going toward my Z's car tax fund........

Hi Bird, Doesn't the DVLA just register petrol or diesel and engine size and number? I didn't realise the DVLA knew if it was an N/A or a TT....

Setting up Greddy Profec B mk II....?
Thanks Si..... looking at trying to set up at about 8psi to see how she does....... and slowly over the next few months take her up to about 12 if all okay..... was reading as much as i could find on various sites before you posted...... seems a vast array of opinion.... 14 psi seems to be a uniform one.... as safe max.....

Setting up Greddy Profec B mk II....?
I forgot to ask what sort of boost to be running on an untested engine and turbo's? What is a sensible amount and what is the maximum a standard TT engine would be able to take?..... Future reference here..... Cheers....
