induction kit
No, Steve, Apexi is generally reckoned to be the finest induction kit - I believe there's been a recent thread decrying the ability of HKS filters ... which is great since I've got one  Anybody else with an Apexi care to comment? CheerZ, JB. :D

What utter tosh! Having been the unfortunate owner of two of these German "autobahn eaters", they were both far more un-reliable than any of the 3 Z's that I've had. (They were both about the same age/mileage as my Z's too) To suggest that the Z was designed to travel at 60/65 with occassioanal bursts of speed is pure bunkum, they were engineered to perform reliably at any point within their capability and with correct maintenance, they do! ... and furthermore, I think that most people would agree that if anything an upgraded Z would be *more* likely to break than a stock one. Pork-man .. please remove head from ass before speaking .. :D CheerZ, JB.

What should James get ?
Sorry!!! Silly of me to risk that most tired of arguments wheeling out again  ... actually, I think you should prolly do the wheels first on balance .. just wanted to use the pipe and slippers gag - given that you're off on your travels soon! ;) Actually Simon, I think/hope the auto versus manual debate is dead .. RIP! :D CheerZ, JB.

What gains from getting rid of the cat?
Well for a start in my case, it get rid of itchy eyes and sneezing .. :D Seriously though, you're right de-catting is a common mod amongst us lot .. I've just had de-cat pipes fitted to mine (91 TT) - not required for MOT, so no worries on that front as for your own. On the plus-sude, I believe that whilst there's no increase in bhp, the theory is that the turbos spool up quicker, although it seems that experiences vary with this - some people reporting a major difference - others not! Once I've had a chance to give her a proper thrashing I'll let you know - but that was certainly the aim. On the minus-side, it's often discussed that if you have weak turbo seals, the back-pressure release of the de-cat will accelerate their departure, and you'll soon have a smokey idle .. however and require £££ to be spent, although many people on here have de-catted without this problem, so again it's a bit luck-of-the-draw, I think. HTH, JB.

Go for the gearbox Jimbo - we all love to play with our stick if we're honest ... and ... You can free up some space in your holiday suitcase, when you throw out the pipe and slippers ;):D:D

Someone please help!!!
That's true Mark, but I believe it's inferior to Racelogic's version, and hence quite a few serious Supra modders (!) choose to add Racelogice anyhow, so it's worth a try ... link is: Poopra Forum CheerZ, JB.

What do you guys want at Billing next year?
Hang on! Err, "When I say Bo ... " - oh never mind! :D Yep, couldn't agree more - some excellent ideas here ... definitely a tent, and a bbq is a great idea, since the stalls really did take the p*ss price and wait wise! :D Am happy to volunteer for chef-ing duties .. :) Perhaps we could have bbq'd banana on the menu ;) BTW, Mark do you know when a date is set for Billing? Deffo an award for best turned out Z - and perhaps a bit of an AGM type gathering on the Sunday - although not *too* early!! :D
