Retro sent me the drivers but they didnt work either and i thought windows would find them but they didnt. I did a search for the specific driver, and found it, but the site wanted 30 dollars so i left it. Cheers John Crisp

  16. I always check any car or van I take to have serviced by a main Dealer, as also worked for a main dealer and know the things that go on. My works van was serviced last year at Mr Clarks and when I went to collect it the rear quarter was bashed in quite significantly. I went to the reception again and said my van was bashed and in the end it was repaired FOC by the dealership. Cheers John Crisp
  17. Retro that would be brilliant mate, its worth a try, the only thing is that I am off on holiday in the morning till saturday and i wont get the laptop back from work till i pick up my van again next weekend but if i have files and file locations that would be a start. Cheers for the replies guys. John Crisp
  20. Okies, port 4 doesnt throw up a port error like the others do but it still wont connect. When I click on conect nothing happens , I dont even get an egg timer to say its happening or trying to connect. The other thing is that I have datascan installed on my main pc, it wont find the cable, all that happens is my pc freezes. Sat night ffs and I am messing about with this....all because my car is up and running again....its like having a new toy. Cheers guys

  24. Legrath, I have installed that driver already. With regards to ports, whats involved in asigning it? When I go to START, CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEM, HARDWARE, DEVICE MANAGER, PORTS, should I see the driver as I dont? Its asigned to PORT 1 just now, is this wrong. Cheers. Retro I love messing about with pc's and in the end we get there by hook or by crook.Cheers for the help mate. Cheers John Crisp
