Call Of Duty 4: Unable to play online on pc
I have looked at the patches for various fixes but am unsure as to what they are. The pc is a month old, Nvidia 8600GTS Card, Drivers should be up to date i'd say, unsure as to the processor but it plays single player no worries. What is the patch you have a fix for? I will try and fook about with the firewall. Cheers

interior carpet
An guessing there is but am not sure. Its a UK car i'm breaking so they must be the same. Surely it can be repaired as its easy enough to remove the seats front and back to pull the carpet up and allow the repair. Cheers John

interior carpet
When you say in the rear, is that the boot or in the back seat. It comes in 2 sections, the boot that splits at the back seat, then the interior including the front and back seats is the other part, which is gonna be quite a bit of work as the carpets go under the dash. I only know this from stripping the car i'm breaking. I have both carpets, I know the boot one has a small tear where it folds up at the back seats, but I was gonna get that stitched at work, I am not 100% sure on the condition of the front one but can have a closer look tomorrow when I will be at the car. I wouldnt be looking for much for them but the post might be quite a bit. They are black carpets btw. Cheers John

please can you help 300zx wont start after small bump
Ian Thats typical mate when u need a hand they are always too busy. Is your car a uk spec as thats what the car is i'm breaking and the front lights might be different. As Tommy says do a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flash up or if you know someone with Datascan/Conzult etc get them to check it. Cheers John

whats gone wrong now
Pub sounds a good call. With regards the sensor it might have been the connector and it doesnt take much for the ECU to log a fault. At least its cleared which is good news. I am hoping to get my car converted to manual soon, just need to sell me private plate as I was gonna do it myself but I am thinking of putting it in a garage, but will wait and see. Cheers John

whats gone wrong now
Aye it wasnt too bad, went oot to a local Golf Club for dinner for a change, normally we have a housefull so it was kinda different. Going out to my sis in laws tonight, plus another 2 or 3 nights out planned....kinda hectic. What about yourself?? Cheers John

whats gone wrong now
Well that would be my understanding of the ECU logging fault codes as with the ignition on the ECU is running and will be checking all its signals so if it isnt happy it will show that by logging the fault code. Cheers John
-
whats gone wrong now
Resetting the ECU wont change the fault status as its obviously seeing the fault constantly or as an Active fault. If you had an intermittant fault then resetting would clear it until the fault flashed up again. Is there not a resistance check that can be done on the sensor or wiring to the sensor from the ECU? Cheers John

whats gone wrong now
Maybee not overfuelling but just working as it thinks it should but you would have no spark. You should do a search of PTU in this forum, I am sure there are plenty other posts relating to similar faults. From previous posts of others the S1 PTU does fail as its probably 18 years old, the newer S2 ones are a lot better. Cheers John

whats gone wrong now
Could it be the PTU on the driver's side cam cover. Mine chucked it on the way home from work after a 5 min drive, wouldnt start, then did start and I drove it for another 10 mins when it stopped again, wouldnt start then did and did the same again until I got home. I messed about with it at home, car chucked it completely, I left it for 2 days and it started like normal first turn of the key. I bought a Series 2 PTU from Courtesy Nissan in USA and its been fine ever since. Doesnt log any fault codes either. HTH Cheers John
