1. The bumper is a complete unit, it could be repaired, but would need removal to fix, which after the time and money spent, you could pick up a decent 2nd hand one. The other areas are not to far gone, if your any good with a mopp (sponge on a grinder) it just looks like dead paint. Go and see a valeters or vehicle detailer, should be a cheaper option to repair. We had a 190e merc when i used to valet, came in much worse than your targa, as the whole car was that colour, went out looking like new.
2. det sensor mate, i might have a spare connector, i will have a look. Check ecu if it shows 34 then you have it.
3. Happy birthday Steve.....................good on yer.............

5. My son just found this, ive never seen it. If you love the film Snatch, this is superb.............The timing is amazing...... Very very well done :dance:
6. When i was a copper, we used to call em wannbecops. Look like coppers, nowhere near same amount of paperwork as coppers, less pay than coppers. dont have the same powers as coppers. So if one ever tells you he is going to arrest or search you, ask him has he been sworn in by a judge and is he fully aware of the powers under PACE (police and criminals evidence act) because he will crap himself, when confronted by someone with knowledge. Fookin USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!
7. LMFAO just watched it, had me in stiches, fooking brilliant!!!!!!!!!:dance:
8. Im looking at my next mod. Ive searched and found bits, but not anything complete. I have heated wing mirrors on my UK zed, i also have spare jap spec folding mirrors. What i want to do is combine the two. to have heated folding mirrors. i have the original switches of my Jap breaker. cant it be done? anyone else tried to do it.??????

17. Andy, the bay looks the bizz, nice to see some finer details, ie paint the throttle cable cover, and the fuel dampner. Attention to detail is first class............Good man.
18. Have a look at this. Might help http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=122508&highlight=headlight
19. One thing to check, is the adjusters on the headlights. OEM were crappy plastic ones and are more than likely to have cracked. Chat to dan at DTA (traders) and get hold of some Tamiya RC diff gears, about 4 quid a pack. i bought 4 sets when i chromed my lights. You only need 2 of the gears in each pack, but its enough to change every gear on both lights. Plus they are made of metal and are a good mod.
20. from your other theads it seems its stood for a while. As mentioned before, PTU = power transistor unit, control spark, cas = crank angle sensor = controls when the injectors need to fire. If the fuel is coming out of the filter brown then it has most defo gone stale. will smell like petrol but will have no qualitys of fuel, only thing is to drain the fuel and use it in a lawn mower or bin it. I have spare PTU and CAS if needed. I posted where in sussex are you, i am here to help if required. Stu
21. Clicking noise could be a sticking injector or is it more of a tappet noise. HAs it ever had some injector cleaner in, or get hold of a screw driver with engine running, put driver onto top of each injector and put against your ear. this will locate it. Might have the dreaded green gunk on the connectors, give em a clean with a small file and some contact cleaner. If it is tappet noise, might be in need of an oil change, I changed mine every 4k or twice a year and it purrs...........
22. :slap::slap::slap: Quality mate........
