  1. Today at 4 ish, i was in the black zed in the jam beside you, we nodded at each other, couldnt play due to the police car in front of us, i think you turned off towards Lancing. The boys in blue followed me all the way home, no chance to even tap the fun pedal............:taz:

  3. 2 x things that just go great together........ Zeds + Sunshine, cracking pics mate.........
  4. My zed is driven every day whether rain or shine, always drives and purrs very well. For the last couple of weeks ive noticed that on full boost or driving fast it seems to be holding back a bit. So with a day off today, ive just spent a couple of hours going over all electrical stuff to make sure its perfect. Checked and cleaned all the usual plugs and connectors, cas, tps, ptu, injectors and coil packs, very slight return of green in the odd place, but all is now better. The worst culprit was the MAF, Blitz SUS and throttle bodies, it was all choked up with crap, so much so that the filter was restricted to breath. After a quick service with K&N filter cleaner. the blitz is like new, the maf electrode is clean, and just for good measure did the bodies too. Just taken out for a drive the difference is incredible, engine sounds miles better and its breathing properly. It pulls like crazy, just sounds and works smoother. My tip for the day is whenever you get slight running issues, dont just clean one thing, do all of them. makes a huge difference, regular maintainence is the key Look after the lady and she will look after you. Stu
  5. Interesting??? After you cut a section out, re bend it to another shape, bond it on, then drill some holes, use some filler, and it would look great............. Might get it, turn it upside down, and create a lip for the front bumper
  6. Its about time we sorted another do at Surrey rolling road. If you havent been to a meet there. it is good. Im happy to arrange dates with the guys at Surrey. We have done runs a few times, and usually a good turn out of zeds show. After the day which is around 2 ish, then over to Virginnia water for a beer and some food. Just need to gauge what dates people can do, then depending how many will do dyno runs, will get a price from charlie. I will hassle the local Sussex zeds to show up in force. Stu

  15. I love carp fishing like i love my zed, this is what makes you glad to do it. The world record for a carp has been beaten, with a fish of 94lbs, my best is 42lb, and that was big, but this is huge... roll on the summer.............. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/6962432/Man-catches-carp-the-weight-of-Kylie-Minogue.html

  17. Sorry but have to post this up, my son found this with his mates, im not a lover of this type of music, nor do feel it right to take the p**s out of religion. But it has had me in tears.................. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QZ1m6-ZMzE
  18. This is one of those things you think 'how weird'. As some know im a plumber, this week on call too. Get a callout at 8pm, leave from my house and the tempreture is warm and raining. Drive to Bognor which is 4 miles down the road, halfway there it is snowing its nuts off, by the time i get there, my transit is sliding all over the place, and the snow is 2" deep. It is freezing cold. Do the plumbing job, and say 45mins later come out to my now covered van, in this time another 2" of snow has fallen. Start driving home very slowly, get to within a mile of my house, and whilst driving in thick falling snow, cant describe it, but i can see the edge of the snow storm, like someone has put up a wall to stop it. Literally as i pass through the 'edge' and im back in rain and its warm again. Get home and my girlfriend thinks im talking bowlocks. But nope, van is coverd in snow, but all other vehicles in the road are just wet. Its one hell of a slow moving snow storm, if im not stuck in the morning i will be even more amazed. WEIRD
  19. Welcome mate, im only down the A24 in Worthing, so can get to Surrey in an hour. Keep an eye on the se/sc meets, not much at this time of year due to weather etc. But we do have em..............

I agree, COTM is a good thing, just wish more folks would get involved and vote. I got 3rd one month, even though i didnt win,its a great feeling knowing that people like what you have done to your zed. It also gets people who wouldnt usually post up much to share their opinion, thus creating more input. Stu
  21. As stated before, alot of South central / east guys know me. Im in this line up from a meet we did at Soushi sunday And here is the proof that playing with gunpowder really hurts
  22. 2nd that, cant believe that you pay someone to clean your wheelie bin, lket alone that, but they clean them, is that where all our hard earned tax payers money goes.??? Cleaning wheelie bins, now ive heard it all, next it will be picking up the leaves on the street and cleaning them, so they can be reused as a local supplied pot porri............
  23. Quality thread, and no im not putting any pics of me up. Besides most have seen em, if it involves gunpowder or licking something.........
