  2. Nothing worse than an old dry patch or an old wet patch !!!! Chris try some diluted patio cleaner or brick cleaner, might get most up and make it look better, but some will still remain where its stained the tarmac.

Part of my things to do list this summer, involve: removing the side skirts and go smooth remove rear spolier (its too big) either 99 spec spoiler or very low level one or smooth fit new 99 spec front bumper The opinions that i want are for the rear bumper. 5. Just seen the ITN news and he has done it again. Whilst at a ceremony he asked a female sea cadet "what do you do for work?" She replies "i work in a club", he answers "a strip club!!!" Other classics quotes While visiting the Caribbean: You have mosquitoes. I have the Press. Chatting to a Scottish Driving Instructor: How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to get them through the test? On receiving a gift in Kenya: You are a woman, aren’t you? Talking to students who visited Papua New Guinea: You managed not to get eaten then? On a trip to the Caymen Islands: Aren’t most of you descended from pirates? Discussing arms control: A gun is no more dangerous than a cricket bat in the hands of a madman. Writing the foreward to a book called “If I Were An Animal”: In the event that I am reincarnated, I would like to return as a deadly virus, in order to contribute something to solve overpopulation. On modern society: Everybody was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed. Meeting an Australian Businessman: Do you still throw spears at each other? Visiting Lockerbie 5 years after Pan Am 103: People usually say that after a fire it is water damage that is the worst. We are still trying to dry out Windsor Castle. Phillip, we salute you… actually we salute your wife, but you know what we mean! You are the man.......:punk:
  6. Looks clean, is it standard??
  7. Its getting better on the price, bit more realistic
  8. The drivers side is very close to touching about 4mm clearance just. May rehang that side as there is some play on the centre section.
  9. A few more of the refurb interior progress as the old grey alcantara was quite worn, but now is nice black suede, all panels incl dash cover done just the doors and rears to do next over the weekend. Now some of the full japspeed system. Best pic i could do, as the zed is a bit low
  10. Well ive at last finished changing my exhaust, from a mongoose cat back to a complete stainless japspeed system with decats. The fit is near perfect with the wings west rear end. And has the look i was after. plus new O2 sensors. The sound is awesome but not to over the top. On tick over its a nice rumble, driving, its very deep, and on full chat it sounds the nuts. Even made a pensioner at a zebra crossing shout "Noisy hooligan" lol Didnt mind i was only pulling away. Will do some pics and a vid when ive finshed my new interior.
  11. Ant, your engine bay looks the biz mate. Stunning
  12. Nice when people appreciate your zed and tell you. good stuff
  13. Got a few days of work, so decide to change my exhaust, to the complete stainless system i bought from Madmax. To start on on the passenger side, as i thought it was the worst. Since my zed was built only the boxes have been changed to Mongoose. After getting the pre cat off and getting to the tricky 4 x bolts that held it on, all off, new back box and decat in place. Cant do middle x section till ive done other side Drivers side, 2 nuts at the bottom were only on hand tight, another bolt a bit easier, but the last remaining bolt was a total coont. You have to get your hand between the bulkhead, a heat shield that cant come off due the the nuts are fooked and a welded in O2 sensor, after nearly 3 hours of trying every spanner, socket, bar, and what else i could hit it with it gave in. Hands all bruised, smoked stack loads of ciggies, sworn at my son, and he did same in return, blamed the japs for making no space to get at anything. Shouted at the dog for crapping in a neighbours garden. What a horrible job to remove original downpipes. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. Have the system on and it looks superb, just a few bits tomorrow to do.
  14. good on you richard, nice when it sails through. still some good un's around.
  15. welcome Carlos, get some pics up of your s13
  16. LMFAO thats a bit excessive, nice way to gain respect though.
  17. Easy job mate, the first pic is the lockshield, take cap off and inside is a 5 or 6mm allen key, turn fully clockwise to close it down. next pic is of the try, turn to cold or off and this will also close down. On the rad side of the trv, is a drain cock. put a length of garden hose on it, with rad valves off, undo the screwdriver bit in drain cock and the water will come out. to speed it up undo the bleed valve on the rad intil you can here air, once empty rad can be removed. To refit is a reversal of this, but make sure bleed valve and drain cock are closed. I will pm you number if you any more help. Stu
  18. cool, will look good mate, im still thinking about the inserts and same skirts. please do a before and after pic, as i may be pm ing Mr Mad.
  19. why does nothing good happen then two things in a day come around to cheer you up?? Firstly ive been after re doing my alcantara in black suede, been looking for ages, but cant find it. Hey presto, go to a local fabric suppliers, and they have 18mtrs of of it, identical to the series 3 interior in mine but in deep black. 2ndly. have been lookiong for my other 'Fairlady Z' badge for a while, only to find it hiding in the targa bags of my spare Jap Z. Now i have 2, well chuffed, may make some enquirys with a local chromer to see if they can use as a template. Never seen on any other zed, but believed from an an old 240 or 260z
  20. as ive got loads i want to get done on the zed. Fit full s/s japspeed system, refurb the wheels to silver from black, ditch the high level spoiler and skirts and go smooth Then get started on re covering the interior grey alcantara with new stuff. But this poxy weather is holding things up. Please bring on the better warm weather quicker......
  21. Apart from my Halfaulds prof set of sockets and rachets, it has to be my 36V Bosch GBH drill/hammer drill/ and chisel. With a set of makita SDS bits. drills and smashes everything. Even snaps heads of thunderbolt fixings (screw straight into concrete) Total bad boy............
  22. Give him hell alan, £120 for 2.5 hours and parts is more than fair. Plus £45 ph is ok, i charge £60 for the first hour, then £50 every hour after that, plus parts. for emergency stuff. And i get loads of work, as i know guys who are double that.
  23. wow, do these fit as a straight fitment to the zed?, if so i can feel my wallet going get some playing. Anyone else got them, and what do you think?
  24. good on you gaz, great feeling when you done the work yourself and it starts.
