Not heard anything from anyone yet apart from the legal team on behalf of my Insurance, but I haven't got any reference numbers or details to give them. Going to ring / stop by the police tomorrow to see if they can give me at least an incident number etc and tell me where my car is. Eyes have repaired themselves well, most of the cuts etc have healed apart from the one on the bridge of my nose - off to ENT specialist at hospital tomorrow but will most likely get them to look at my sore throat (not accident related!) above anything else. I've been driving about, bit nervous but best to get back on the horse I suppose.

Had a very bad one last night, hit a motorbike head on after he was overtaking on my side of the road. All happened very fast but all I remember was seeing a light which seemed like it was in mid air - it was the bike coming over the brow of a slight hill and on a slight right hand bend. Huge bang and then the whole right hand side of the car came in on me. I was stuck in for a bit - they cut the door off to get me out so I didn't see the bike or rider, but apparently he is serious but not life threatening thank god. At the time I was certain he would not live through it. I luckily have just cuts & brusies and a little bit of damage to my eyes as I got a lot of glass in them, testamnet to the strength of the Zed. My pride & joy is absloutely wrecked and I don't know where it is as yet. Hopefully I can get some other belongings out of it but I am so gutted that all my mods will most likely be lost, as the car is fully comp etc and I will just get the agreed value back. Not much I could do about this, but take care out there folks it can happen to anyone.

As mine is about 9 weeks, it looks like I'm for it then. Great - £80, plus having to buy tax again before Xmas :cry: Lesson learned - change V5 address asap!

Thought this program was a bit pants really, Penny Mallory going on about the Mistu GTO saying it scared journalists, had record breaking performance and there was nothing like it about at the time :confused: . Then some guy saying the Supra didn't handle - OK I know we hate poopra's but they were one of the quickest point to point cars of the time. Too many no-mark / past it journalists on there for my liking.

Just realised my tax ran out in September :slap: . The reminder will have gone to my old address as I keep forgetting to change it since I moved. Anyone know if I'm likely to have a hefty fine waiting? Any way of avoiding it?

14.4 for a standard UK TT manual, auto perhaps a tenth or so quicker.

Indicated 175mph in mine, still pulling fairly well, gues that's 160 ish in real terms.

Hi When we spoke at the pod you had some bespoke injector connector brace plates fitted on your Z and mentioned you might be able to get more made. Any updates? One of my connections is a little temprmental so would be interested.

Good day out guys, nice to see you all. Still pissed off with my poor display, 3 different mistakes on 3 occasions but still worth the trip. Got some good pics to post which I'll try to do tomorrow once I've sorted them out.

I'm with Flux this year - they have given me a big discount for being in this club and also a bit more off for limiting my milage to 5k per year. I have declared pretty much the same mods as you apart from wheels, I am 24, living in Chester city centre, and I paid £637 fully comp. As Mac said joining is worth while for insurance discounts alone, not to mention traders discounts etc, so thats a start. Maybe also think about your milage.

F reg 1.4 Cavalier saloon in blue / rust - worst shed I have ever driven. Daren't take it over 65 as it weaves around alarmingly and feels like it's going to roll. Had it 6 months, not washed it once and plough my shopping trolley into it with every opportunity but it won't dent :mad: Soon to be replaced by a Laguna - can't come soon enough.
