  1. It includes VAT, and doesn't mention anything else, so worth a look maybe. Exchange turbo (std) is £395 inc VAT which also seems pretty good.
  2. Anybody used turbosport in Bedfordshire? I see in JP that they're offering hybrid turbo's (19 psi) fitted for £1395. Also do a full blue printed 15 psi re-build for £2585, & 20 psi inc lightened flywheel, low compression re-build for £3290. Wondered how this compares to SE?
  3. and me, 92 manual with 104k, FSH. Touch of rust on rear where water runs from the tailgate & a small bubble on the passenger side T panel, apart from that it's OK considering its age. This colder weather disagreeing with it a bit though - needs a bit of a sensor/intake clean up I think.
  4. There are a few friendly black Z owners in Chester, one is me, but another is a nice lady who has said hello and nice car to me before jumping in her own high winged beast so its probably her I guess.

I was I trax today but with some Ford enthusiats, so didn't get much of a chance to chat to any Z owners. Got some good pics of the line up though - agreed Lee, Dave W's looked very nice. Next year when a few bits and bobs are sorted and I've got around to actually joining the club I'll be in there as well hopefully. Out of interest there was a black UK K reg which was relatively standard except red calipers and clear repeaters - whose is this? Almost identical to mine - would be interested to see what problems etc it has had and how it runs. Best track action of the day was defo the Abbey Skylines especially the whiote one which sounded like a rocket taking off!
  6. ..on the A470 Betws-y-coed N Wales. Anyone here? Followed me for a while before a while before I flew off up the A5.
  7. Cheers all who replied, found the pipe concerned which had split just below the sender (had a Toad alarm fitted nearby recently so it probably got knocked then. Just need to find a new pipe now!
  8. Had a look by the servo and can't seem locate a pipe that is likely to be the feed for the boost gauge. Can somebody point me in the right direction .
  9. SRRAE - Yes, performs fine. Clarkey - Yes stays at zero from the second I start up to the second I stop again. I will check the pipes, hopefully something as simple as one off these disconnected. Cheers.
  10. Hi all Yesterday when accelerating moderately off a roundabout, my (stock) boost gauge went to 0 psi as usual but then just stuck there. Now refuses to move one bit unless ignition is switched off. Starting the car flicks it to the middle again. Car idles fine and is delivering the goods power wise. Any suggestions on what / where to check? Cheers.
  11. The black one was me, stuck in traffic wishing I'd got off my arse and had the air-con re-gassed by now. Noticed another red import which lives in Handbridge, Chester as well. Would never go as far to say they are common, but amazing how many I've seen now I've got one!
  12. Mine also is a little reluctant to slot 1st from 2nd, but I usually double clutch and then it goes in fine. My gearbox seems to be the opposite of those above though - very easy to change when cold first thing, but as it warms up along a journey it becomes more difficult to go up or down the box. Also a slightly worrying scrapping noise at low revs in 2nd and 4th has materialised - sound like its coming fro the lower passenger side of the engine bay. Any ideas anyone? Car has done 100k - hopefully not gearbox re-build time yet!
  13. Chris Is yours a red one? If so I saw you and another black jap spec Zed run (think his was a manual). I also had my black UK TT manual there but didn't run it as I'm not 100% confident in the state of my clutch / gerabox. If it was you then congrats, tidy car and a reasonable time considering what the few skylines etc were running and the temperature.
