  1. Like the wheels & the spec, but ugly as fook
  2. I hope so! But looks like that is the minority opinion so far  Bear in mind this engine is a long way from standard, basically as far as you can go without going for a low compression re-build. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  3. My mods will be very similar to your mate when all done, so I hope to at least make him work very hard on the 1/4.
  4. I can't help thinking that this argument will become irrelevant due to a mechanical failure on his side not for the first time (the group A head gasket was a ultra strong group N until recently  ) I don't think I could contain my delight if he stopped half way down in a cloud of smoke :D
  5. Hmm...not much confidence on here then! At least if one of Jezz's SXOC mate beats him I can laugh. Mark by the way if you read this, the owner of this is the guy that brought your black XR2 off you - still going strong by the way!.
  6. Nice one Mr Duff. Here is his spec he has just sent, if it means anything to anyone. Means fa to me but I've seen this car beating most standard evo's scoobies etc fairly easily. 7. No Mike, he has a decent spec list which I can paste if anyone is interested, but it is quick. MAC???
  8. Recently ran a 14.3, however claims of late 12 seconds are being made. Bit sceptical myself. Also, plans for 50bhp NOS kit is being mentioned!
  9. Further to my mate including anti-Zed comments in his Fast Ford interview, he has now reckons he can beat any Zed owner over a standing 1/4 in his 350-380bhp Sapphire Cosworth (4x4) I am obviously going to do my best, however what I would really like is for several Zed's to stuff him at Santa Pod. We are aiming at USC (6-8th August). Inetersted parties? By the way I don't think a standard Zed would come close.
  10. Do you work for BAR Robin? What do you do?

  12. I know of a good quality second hand one for sale now going VERY cheap! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=31989 and at least one opinion on it's condition: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=32764

    LOL! Maybe!
  14. Are these the R4S grooved & dimpled ones? What pads are you using? Should be able to try out my very own set a week today
  15. Oops, N/A didn't spot that, so agree with Richard slightly lower viscosity for that. I've heard that ZX1 is suppossed to be OK, however I don't really go for this additive idea myself. Oil companies spend millions deveoping their oil, and if a simple additive like those sold was that good, surely it would be in there to start with? Or is it all a big conspiricy?! A mate told me that a company (Shell I think) got their oil so good that they found zero engine wear after running a test engine for 500000 miles without changing it, but then decided to keep it under wraps as it would end the servicing business.
  16. Do a search.....I think you find the answer is negative! Castrol RS 10W-60 is a popular choice
  17. Mark Did you paint your calipers yourself? I want to exactly that i.e. drak blue with white or silver Nissan logo. Did you spray / brush the whole lot at once and then pick out the nissan afterwards or try to mask the letters first and then just lightly sand & laquer them?
  18. Ok - looks like he's in demand elsewhere as well, so BTTT
  19. Did it have to be garaged? Waiting for a quote from them but they said the Zed would only be covered on a 2nd car if it was garaged.

Somebody else after Dan as well then! Thats three of us.
  21. I have some of these bushes in my front room as well as the two gaitors and the main metal plate beneath them - if you need the part numbers let me know & I'll post them on here later.
  22. Dan - give me a ring mate 07753867081 re engine. If I don't answer leave a message & your number and get back to you as soon I can. Alex.
  23. Group of us going on the Friday night and camping both nights. 7am?? Do they breathalise?
  24. Can these go on the calender / events section? I'm aiming for USC this year for my first 1/4 mile attempts & probably Trax as well. Can't do Billing
  25. Sounds a bit like lifters to me. Do a search on them - plenty of advise / checks on here.
