Won't be back until the 3rd weekend in July but will be there if the first one / few are a success
  2. Bad luck Mark...better than a pourous block though I suppose! Good luck with the next step, maybe its time to start talking to the traders to see what they can do. What about going to a slightly higher capacity e.g 3.1 ltr blueprinted or something that can rev a bit higher?
  3. At Rainbow beach at the moment ready for a Fraser Island trip tomorrow....its absolutely pissing it down!!! Most of Southern Queensland has had 6-10 inches of rain in the last 24 hours! Back up to Darwin next week though where is at least 30 degrees and sunny all the time. Seen a few Zeds already, a '95 TT manual is $27k which is about 12k GBP I think. Tuning scene is very big in Oz it seems, loads of ricers about.

OK.....one night done with 4:17am, up at 9 to wash the car before I start drinking again at dinner time tomorrow (today!) and then stop sensibly at 10pm as I have to leave here at 6 to get in the queue for 8am Sunday!

Cool looks like a good few going then! Top weekend planned for me....Liverpool Friday night, Chester's new lapdancing club Saturday night, and at the pod for 8am Sunday :D I will make it :hyper:
  6. Shocking and tragic. Deepest sympathy to all concerned.
  7. Thanks folks, all sorted so no favour needed now.
  8. I might be trying to get a lift as I have to drop my car off on the way back. Am trying a few other avenues first though so I'll post back here if I still need it! Cheers!
  9. You'll need a dremel or similar to slightly enlarge the clock hole a little, as it's a few mm too small once the clocks out.
  10. Will anybody North West based who's at the Pod on the 19th be travelling back up this way on the Sunday evening? I have a favour to ask if so ;)

Cool....come on North West folks lets have some more interest

Mixture would keep interest up. I'd be there whenever I could of course - where were you thinking Chris?
  13. Sunday for me...pm'd you Chunk.

Hmmm...I go to Austrailia just after this so could have one last blow-out. Put me down as a strong maybe!
  15. Yampiedog Sealant on its way to you mate. Alex.
  16. What make are they? Most have an adjustable spring tension, sounds like you need to add some tension until the problem goes away. Had some idle probs on the APEXi's I fitted until I did this, then they were fine.
  17. I've got a spare roll of it if you want it, use sparingly and it's enough for 2 lights. Pm me your adress mate and I'll send it to you.
  18. Cheers John. Looks like I need another trip down your way then! Will sort it out with you soon mate
  19. Anyone running T-28 BB turbo's with standard injectors? Just wandering what my tuning options are as I can't afford to shell out for bigger injectors just yet. The car already goes fairly well, tubs spool very quickly and it has decent mid range running 10 psi, de-cat powerflow, cone filter and JWT. Think the boost is upped just a touch with one boost jet only. I assume that running 14 psi on my Profec if I get it installed will max out the injectors due to the bigger tubs? Also have an SAFC...some like them and have got good results, others prefer a custom chip. Cheers all :)

Have you heard the AJP flat plane crank V8? Sounds like a very loud four imo. Lecturer at m Uni used to have an early 4.2 - it sounded like a bag of spanners every time I heard it. Unfortunately they didn't put a rover V8 in the cerbera, but without a doubt they are very quick, just sound a bit poo!

Have a look at the straight 6 version then Andy - much better sounding, pretty much as fast (some have more powerful Tuscan spec sixes) and more reliable by all accounts
  22. The fan on UK's is a pain to get out, but if you undo those three bolts on the cooler as you see in the pic (from underneath irrc) you should be able to move it enogh without undoing the oil pipes etc. Recommend lots of WD40 first...one of mine was so siezed it snapped.
  23. Just been cruising through Chester rush hour and some lad deliberately stopped walking so he could watch me pull out of a junction and accelerate down the road. Gave him a big dump of boost as I past, and he smiled and then set off on his journey again. Sufice to say this has rarely happened when I've been driving a Renault Laguna for the last 5 months:hyper:
  24. Hi Mark I live in Chester centre (near Total Fitness) but work at Airbus so might see you about mate. I can't miss your car so we're baound to see each other about  Couple of others arouns this way as well
  25. I think Baggins was after some, try him.
