Cheers chaps. Borrowed the digi cam at work so here's some pics :)

Please Help another b***** water pipe
Mine holding up, took a picture of my repair in case you need to do the same, and also a pic of where they go into the bulkhead.

Please Help another b***** water pipe
There are two pipes (in & out of the matrix I assume) that go into the bulkhead about 1 hands length down from the back of the engine. On mine, I could undo the clips and rotate them, but the pipe was stuck fast depsite me pulling with all my might from the top. Couldn't get anything down there to get leverage on the bulkhead itself. Just driven mine to work, seems to be holding so far but I'm a bit worried that my pulling may have weakened the pipe elsewhere. Bloody cars!

Please Help another b***** water pipe
This is weird...I have had exactly the same problem this weekend with my new zed, same pipe has a small hoel in it and was spraying out water in a high pressured mist. I disconnected the top of the hose but could I f*ck as like pull it off the bulkhead connection. In the end I have had to buy some larger bore hose and 'sheath' the current one and tighten some jubilee clips over it. So far so good, but just hope it last until i can get it somewhere :(

Back in a Zed
Some of you will know that I had a very unfortunate incident with a motorbike just before Christmas which I'll admit has taken a little bit of time to get over mentally, and I'm still not fully over physically. But at long last I have been paid out from my insurance and got myself another Zed, and a good one at that (thanks Rossy) :nana2: The last week it has been having an alarm fitted and also most of my old stereo that I rescued from my old zed. Big thanks to Safe & Sound Bob for that, top job as usual. :) It does feel a little different and more wayward at the back than my UK car, but it could be the larger wheels and smaller steering wheel. Am going to get laser allignment done all the same. It's a great feeling being able to look out of my window at such a graceful shape again. Off to the Pod next weekend for the Redline rumble to see how she performs :hyper:

Lift-off!
Not straight away, but over time it will cut fares in the same way that the 747 did IMHO. Looks stumpy at the moment, but a stretched version is a possibility... ;)

Lift-off!
About 20 of the worlds major hubs are ready or will be read for entry into service (LHR, Dubai, LAX, Singapore, Sydney etc). Estimated 40-60 in the next 10 years, all depends on how airlines react now. Smaller, more fuel efficient aircraft...think they're right, thats why we are starting major work on the A350, a rival to the 787. More headaches for me!

Lift-off!
Our A380 has made a succesful take-off - everyone in the company watched it live on big screens etc. Feel very proud to have had a large part to play in building the wings - something to tell the kids about (if I ever have any!) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4488361.stm

Need a list of insurence companies!
Same with me with Carole Nash - I'm sure folks on here have imports with them, but as soon as I said the word import it was a no. Just got an Ok deal with greenlight - try a serach for them.

fitting on apexi bov's
It's not quite as easy if you've got a UK car, oil cooler needs shifting before fan comes out. Other than that straightforward.

when you step out of you're Z
Used to find myself staring out of my flat window at it - had the perfect front / side angled view that it looks best in. Not having it there for 5 months has been very hard, even with the shite weather. Soon that time will be at an end..... ;) :hyper:

Logging In Problem
Sorry to thread hi-jack, but for some reason my subscribed status has been removed and also I cannot post any new threads   Even created another user name to post this up and still couldn't. Can someone sort it out for me please? Cheers Alex C

turbos?
My tubs were still OK at 105k miles before I had them replaced (upgraded) for piece of mind. If you've been stood for a while, there is a chance that the smaller rubber pipes that feeds into a little black box toward the back left of the engine bay (drivers side) has perished or fallen off (happened to me).

ABS - shite ?
The master cylinder brace made a noticible difference to my pedal feel - good upgrade for the Zed I think.

poorly 300zx
naneek - which dealer have you tried? If it was Hartwell then don't bother unless you just want spare parts, from experience they no nothing about the 300. As most people are saying, it's most likely the PTU - if you can wait a week I can come and have a look at it next weekend, but I am no expert by any means and it may be better that you take advise from others on here. If you are desperate to get it somewhere in Chester, try Crane Bank Garage down near the racecourse on Sealand Road, don't mention anything about a HG before you take it in and see where they start.

Car Poll
Was a weekend only, until I decided to venture out on a Wednesday afternoon :slap: No longer have a Zed

Pirelli Pzero Nero
I had P Zero Asymetrico on the rear - not sure if there is a compound difference to the Nero but they were exceptional in terms of grip & traction, average in terms of wear (compared to toyo's that I had on the back). Can't go wrong with Pirelli IMO.

Figures for Profec2 B spec
I was running at 15 on mine, settings made it a bit eratic until I used these that Kirbz posted: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=40684&highlight=settings After that lovely and smooth, top end seemed better and there were less spikes.
