  1. I took loads of pics when mine was done. I can hunt them out if you want? Ant
  2. Regarding the mounting brackets, if i don't recieve them would it be easy to get the brackets made? will they be cheap? or can another rad bracket fit the rad I have? Oh and he also said he is going to refund me $300 for all the problems he has caused. We will see  Ant
  3. I can't believe it. Its finally turned up. It's taken 50-60 emails, 379 days, at least a dozen phone calls ( got no answer from any of them ). I must admit I didn't think it would turn up. I posted on the US forums to try and get a response or some help. It's my radiator fan and shroud from Ashspec. It turned up Monday morning. He had gave me a shipping number last week in a email, but until it turned up at my door I wouldn't of believed it had been sent. The guy is a nightmare to deal with. Im just glad I planned my rebuild a year ago and started ordering bits then or it would of held my rebuild up. I forgot to say he forgot to send the mounting brackets, I've emailed him, lets hope it don't take another year. Anyway thought I would share this with you and just do more research before buying anything from Ash. Thanks, Ant
  4. Happy birthday, hope you had a good day. Ant
  5. Its nice and helps to have my friends who own Custom exotics place to use. Loads of room and there knowledge too :) Ant
  6. Hi Jimmer, I am going to be doing all that lot too. When I said about not touching the heads I meant not going for uprated cams etc. Sorry it was a bit vague on my part. Oh and I have added the tensioner etc to the list, just haven't updated the list on here :) Cheers, Ant
  7. WOW, I don't know how I missed this reply. Wasn't expecting that much. Cheers, Ant
  8. I didn't get a seperate quote for the rear. They done all the bodykit so the price was in with that. Give them a call, they have a web site. HTH. Ant
  9. Some more work has been done over the last week. Got the plenum off, as well as the tubs and both the heads. Couldn't believe the difference in size of the standard tubs compared to the GT28r's. The cylinder walls look good with no marks, so was pleased with that. I will be back down there this friday and monday to strip a bit more ready for it to be cleaned. I'm still enjoying the work I have done and learning a little each day. More pics, hope you enjoy. Thanks, Ant
  10. This is the one that Custom exotics done for me. Its a modified strosek rear from z centre. Thanks, Ant
  11. Just wondering if a DOOLZ (Dual Intake) would be required with my setup I'm looking at or will a single be ok. I see Radron has one for sale and it got me thinking :D Thanks, Ant
  12. Happy Birthday, have a good one. Ant
  13. Cheers everyone. Ant
  14. Thanks Jimmer. Ok, that's why I'm checking. I thought they were alloy heads, just weren't sure if there was any specific order for undoing. So if I do 1/4 turn following this diagram going in reverse order 8,7,6 etc? Thanks, Ant
  15. They are friends of mine and know there won't be any problems. So there won't be any come back ;) If they weren't doing the engine and someone else was, I wouldn't have touched it. Thanks for the advice though. So I just do 1/4 turn on all bolts in any order and repeat the process in the same order, 1/4 turn until there all undone? Thanks, Ant
  16. No, It is getting done by Custom exotics. But I am trying to get as much as possible done before they start. I'm hoping to learn about it by doing as much as I can myself. It's at theirs at the moment and I am popping down there when I get a spare few hours to do bits.
  17. Sorry forgot to mention the engine is out. Ant
  18. Is there a guide for removing the cylinder heads? I've removed the cam covers, just need to know what order to loosen the head bolts. Also does the lower intake manifold need to be removed before the heads are removed? Thanks, Ant
  19. Blended looks so much better. I'm liking that alot. Ant
  20. Looking very nice bud. I got me a set of those adjusters too. just got to fit them now. Ant
  21. Alot, how much is that roughly then :)
  22. Agree, better than the fog lights. Looking good. Ant
  23. Well I thought I would ask the question. People keep asking what bhp I am expecting from the car when it's done. I'm not sure and I know it's the question everyone likes to ask. So what do people think? What should I expect with the setup I will have. Thanks, Ant
