19" tyres sizes please
I will try and find the offsets, thanks.. MarkZx, this is what I thought. And thanks for the common sense. I have now checked on line and a 225 tyre is OK for 7.5" to 9" tyre. So this is obviously OK on a 8.5" rim.

SWB rear spoiler
Hi, I need a rear spoiler for my SWB TT '92. Can you buy new copies (pattern) What have you guys done? Thanks.....

19" tyres sizes please
Sometimes the more information one gets the harder the choice. Lol. The rear is not much of a problem as I have plenty of room, but the front off set is possibly not ideal, being nearer to the outer arch. So I am a little concerened about it touching. The wheels were a present from my son and he had to trust the supplier, but he was in the States so it gets a bit complicated, as these things can sometimes. Not sure how to get round it and decide what size to fit.... Thanks for your input so far everyone. I suppose a second hand worn out 225, 235 for the front might help to see how it clears. Anyone have one near Aylesbury??????

19" tyres sizes please
Not so much the handling as tramlining etc.

19" tyres sizes please
Thanks, the front offset puts the rim a bit close to the arch, so I was thinking 225 would be safer. Then theres the handling, soooooo, sounds like 225 for the front. Rears, I think I will have to have a look as I would like big on the back. What size are your wheels guys? Same as mine?

Ebay Light Weight pullys
Anyone remember who the seller was? And does the price start to be the same, more or less, when you add in the belts that I think come with Smithy's as a kit? I guess the standard belts become too long?

Auto gearbox fluid leak?
In hot weather and going fast the fluid expands a great deal, so then it may be (and appear) overfull, and leak. Maybe?

new cameras
As T Pot says, if you as the registered keeper fail to supply driver details then the reg keeper gets the points/fine. And when a Gatso, as opposed to a Truvello camera takesa pic its of the rear anyway. not sure if MSN has a web site, but if they do there may be some of the article I read, well worth reading. oh, and I think the solicitors name was Franklin

I read an article in MSN the other week about what you should and should not do. A ot of the advice was given by the guy, cant remember his name, who gets a lot of the footballers off etc. He said, NEVER ask for a photo. If you are not supplied with ALL EVIDENCE that is to be used against you at least 7 days before your hearing quite simply none of it can be used against you, and as such there is no case to answer. He did say you should get profesional help too but he was very clear about the evidence thing.

PC Help, PLEASE
And thanks to you also Woody, Yes I have installed the mobo drivers. Although I make no claim at being good at PC's I am OK (ish). Thing is, this very same problem is exactly the same with 2 different motherboards, 2 different hard drives, including 2 fresh XP installs and one "repair" install, 3 different sets of mouse/keyboard both USB and PS2 fitting (Is it PS2?).....Common factors. CPU, Ram, Case and power supply, Video card (AGP radeon 9800 Pro), cd writer, DVD rive, floppy (which I never use). When it freezes it just stops responding to inputs. No other sign of a problem, that I can see.

PC Help, PLEASE
OK, did the USB powersave thing. No Good. It froze today exactly when I inserted a cd to load a program, as in the tray slid in, I watched to see if the light on the front of the cd drive was working as I didnt see the expected autorun symbol, and then it froze. Restarted and it was fine. Does this point at power supply???? Dont why it might as when everthing is OK its all OK, if you know what I mean....also kebd froze too. As usual.

How do I change the powersave options for the USB please?

PC Help, PLEASE
Thanks guys, I did write a long answer to all your replies and guess what, the mouse froze. Anyway, the problem is the same with 2 differerent mobos. The power supply is one constant that I had not considered as ity is not too old. It is big enough. I have tried both USB and PS2 connections, in all USB slots direct into the mobo and via a powered hub. All the same. Tried 3 different mice, one brand new cordless microsoft. Have not tried powersave option, and I will do and report back. Current mobo is a K7. Greatly appreciate your effort, thanks.

PC Help, PLEASE
Hi All. OK, brief spec. XP pro. 3000+amd, 1gb ram, Radeon 9800 pro, New PC chips mobo, new Seagate HD. Fresh install of XP (Twice)... Problem, sometimes, about once a day the mouse will not work, switch off and re start and sometimes its OK. Leave it and sometimes its OK, sometimes not. New Cordless mouse and kbyd, (M/soft) makes no difference, corded mouse and kebyd jsut the same. Try it in a different USB port and mostly its OK, it often "finds" the mouse and we are off.... untill the next time. New Mobo was installed to fix this problem, ha ha. But its still there. Driving me nuts. Any ideas?

R34 Turbos, worth fitting?
That will do, thanks Kirbz.....

R34 Turbos, worth fitting?
Hi Tony, def stabdard tubs, we have a part of one of the ceramic wheels that came out of the exhaust, lol. Spec is a little uncertain but what we do know is; Greddy inlet pipes & filters, Trust FMIC, Blitz dual SBC, Kakimoto large downpipes and straight thru pipes, one from each tub all the way to the back, ECU. The rest of the car has lots of bits too but the only help towards the 1/4 mile time would/might be the Tein coilovers with EDFC, we think the rear diff might be different, and its running 18" BBS, 265 tyres (all round as its 4wd). New OS Giken twin plate clutch. And just to add some "spice" to the discussion he is running Nangkang tyres. 265/35/18 @ £82.00 each. And he has just told me for the fast run he ran a peak of 1.5 bar. His first ever run, and I mean first ever for him ever was 12.6 So, back to the topic, these are ceramic tubs in an engine with not many mods. An R34 has ball bearing tubs and steel internals ( I think) and it can make some very good BHP. So fitted to a Z with the right "other" bits, seems like it "could" be a good idea, without spending thousands. This is the question. In passing. One of the first things many do to a 200sx (S13) is fit a T28 in place of a T25 for usefull power gains.

R34 Turbos, worth fitting?
OK, just trying to understand. As for how much can an R34 make. My son has an R33 GTR, running standard tubs but a few other bits and he ran an 11.6 at the Pod. OK, he was running too much boost to be safe, as in 1.3bar. Have no idea what BHP he had but to run an 11.6 was very good.
