  1. I think any design problems would have worked their way out of a 15 year old car by now!
  2. As long as you don't charge £40 an hour:D
  3. OK excellent, you need a separate hose for each bank of cylinders!
  4. The only advantage with the HID's is you will be able to see what your crashing into:D :D :D
  5. Stu, Do you have a dual intake, with a filter independently feeding each bank or two filters both feeding into one AFM?
  6. Yeah I think the block isn't meant to be up to scratch for higher PSI!
  7. Twin intake and upgrade IC's as well stuart! If you have the money Greg Duprees split downpipes, decrease lag and increase BHP :D
  8. Dunno Lymon if you talk to the guy who owned Tony C's car before him, he was not happy with Sport 500's! Plus also, there is a core charge with the 500's and not the 530's so you could recoup some money selling your old tubs!
  9. Hi Stuart, The problem with fitting a custom turbo is that it is an unknown quantity! If you have trouble with the actuators or some other querk then who can you consult? Noone apart from the maker and he could say it is a problem with your engine or the fitter! If you get the JWT or PE1420 $2400(my choice), then there are plenty of people on TT.net or 300zxclub.com to give you advice/experience on how to solve your problem! Also the ecu mapping would have to be custom mapped for your turbo engine setup! BTW the main advantage of BB turbos is that they enable the turbo to run higher boost than 360 or 270 thrust bearings, i.e. 20+ psi! Also if you gonna get your tubs shipped with the price of shipping/customs, you might as well have a weekend break in New York and pick them up yourself?
  10. Why don't you ask your mechanic who did the work? Surely he is the best person to aleviate your fears, since 1. he is a mechanic and 2. he has seen your car.
  11. UUUUUMMMMMMM (Mark thinks to himself, has he got anything to pick up from the North West)!!!!!!!!!:D
  12. Change the oil Garry! You might have broken it down by the strain of racing the engine and now it has lost some of its lubricating abilities! You should always change your oil before and after the track days!
  13. Try wrapping aroung the engine mounts!
  14. Hi, I start up MSN home page and then after about ten minutes it tries to load up mulitple copies of the MSN hompage at the rate of one every ten secs or so! By the time I have noticed my puta is too overloaded to respond and I have to restart it! Any Ideas?

  16. Adam I thought you had aftermarket tubs and injectors though! I am just talking about the basic mods! Again all we are talking about here gents is speculation! Get on the dynos and SHOW ME THE MONEY:D
  17. Personally it has gotta be the brakes! But I understand the xenon lights are about a grand! You could have a set of R33 brakes for 450-500 and a set of HID lights from ebay for 250ish? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36476&item=2450853441
  18. 400BHP! I have never heard or seen anyone with 400BHP with the basic mods! SE roliing road day springs to mind!
  19. To get to 400 you would rerally need to get bigger turbos and injectors and if you are going this route you might as well go to 500 because it would cost the sameish! As stuart says the above outlay will give an enjoyable car that will arive at a figure that is close to the 400 mark! I would be more optimistic about the reliabilty, I think the Zed engine can handle more bhp!
  20. Hi, Just thought I would alert you to a couple of good offers! 5 litres fully synthetic 5-40W, halfords own make supplied by Halvoline apparently, £14.99 10 piece ratchet spanner set with flexible head, £24.99
  21. Thanks guys, Some people have fitment problems with the courtesey ones and some people get away with it, can't remember now what impedes it!
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33591&item=2451829707 They seem like they are a slightly different design around the struts, so they might not have the fitment probs of the Courtesey ones!
  23. Also get some compressed air and blow it at the rad to clear out all the crap!
  24. Yeah no joke, someone sent me a link from a sad mag called something like heater core monthly, because of the bad earth it caused the colant to become corrosive eating through the heater core! I am thinking of whacking a couple of earthing straps in my undercrackers, see it perks things up down there as well:D
