Hi, Finishing my TT conversion off in the next couple of days!! I thought I had a fully functioning and complete HKS EVC with which to control the boost, because I was using an NA loom! But this HKS EVC is looking dubious and it might have to be replaced! In the meantime am I right in thinking I could just plumb the turbos and actuators in, and presume this would just operate at stock boost! Stock boost would be what I want anyway until I have run the engine in!!

Gio, Personally I wouldn't use a oil pressure gauge! The big ends on a Zed are not a prevalent problem, I presume you wanna use the space for the three gauges in the din panel? I would fill them with, Boost pressure, water temp and oil temp gauges, I think these are the most valuable on a zed! Lets face it, if your oil pressure is down, you check your oil levels. If they are ok then it is time to for an engine rebuild or replace the faulty stock oil pressure sender!

Hi tony, You could well be right, I presumed it was the roman numbers and meant 8, but it does look different to the instructions you sent me. All the buttons are on the right, anyway I took a picture, just gotta work out how to get it on here!!!!!

OK Chris, It is really up to the members, there are pros and cons to having us linked with a certain company especially at a high profile event like billing! Also other traders might want to help so it is a difficult position to resolve, ultimately it will have to come down to a poll!

Talked to steve burns tonight and he would like estimations of car numbers for billing! I believe there was a total of eighty zeds last year visiting over the two days, not all at the same time, and that was with bad weather forecast and experienced! So if we could have a rough idea from you guys as to how many cars you think we should book spaces for and then take it from there!

Hi, I have a hks EVC, which came from a jap import, all it says on the box is HKS EVC, with a sticker underneath is HKS VIII 05855 Does anyone know where I can source instructions for this model?

I still can't see how the Diaphragm perishing on the FPR or damper creates a petrol smell, these are sealed units, it has to be a leaking hose!

Try putting talc on all the hoses it will show where the petrol is leaking!

Isn't the cheapest car for insurance the Uno or Punto! I know it ain't brilliant but it he only has to drive it a couple of years and then he can upgrade! Or why not buy a new car with free insurance chucked in?
