membership fee question
The membership fee is to keep the 300ZX club going and also for the benefits membership brings e.g. trader discounts, club events etc.! It has nothing to do with whether you bought a car from someone on this site!

Saw the Lockerbie wreckage yesterday!
I am on a Fire Rescue Unit course, since I am changing my role at work! Part of the work it does is airplane chrashes and we visited the Aircraft Accident Investigation Centre! In there they had about twenty aircraft that were involved in accidents and had reassembled the wreckage of the Lokerbie plane on a gigantic wire frame, with the section of the explosion blatantly obvious! Very eerie!!! We also deal with car crashes so if you have a prang in your Zed in South London and see one fireman saying that we have to take the wheels off to get you out of the car, just agree with him!!:D :D

350 Z
I didn't like the new 350Z, because I only saw the Nemesis one at Billing! Now I have seen the stock car in Gunmetal grey and silver I think they are the mutts nuts, they have got to be a market leader at 26K, thats 10k cheaper than the Z32 when it came out 10+years ago!

200SX turbos
The 200sx S14 has one T28 turbo! It may fit one side but definately won't fit the other! The bog standard T28 is a very laggy old fashioned turbo and probably not worth the aggro of fitting!

Do NA injectors have a red top?
Just wanted to confirm that they are different from TT injectors in CC and colour?

BHP or not BHP that is the question!!
I think you should really ask yourself what you enjoy about driving your car? Is it the responsiveness and driveability, or is it all out top end speed, or do you hate lag? I don't think you can have a 600BHP car that is a driver friendly car to use! I think 500BHP or so is about the limit for keeping driver firendly motoring!

Shall we merge the for sale and wanted section?
It seems to me that the for sale and wanted section don't have enough posts to warrant individual areas! It might give the site a cleaner look if we merge them! Also half the time people are selling and wanting the same thing on two different areas and not meeting up! Anyway you decide!

Throttle Body Bypass Question?
I think that TT link is a sort of bodge bypass, I believe to do it properly you have to take on of the turbo return feeds and plumb it into these pipes! I think it also warms the plenum halfway down and the Throttle bodies, I can't see the point of trying our upmost to keep the intake charge cool and still have this warming feature connected, in our temperate climate!
-
Throttle Body Bypass Question?
I believe you plumb the line from each turbo straight to the pipes feeding the hoses going to and from the heater!

Mini Meet 16th Nov in Kent.
There is gonna be a bigger meeting at Slough, why don't you come to that?

Throttle Body Bypass Question?
Cheers Mate, I needed that picture as well so thanks for posting it! It wasn't the rubber hoses going to the matrix, but a picture of the metal pipes that feed those hoses I wanted, have sorted it now;)

Newbie - Help Buying a TT
Hi Martin, I know an excellent mechanic who owns a zed and lives near Crawley, have a look at the links and AndyP's site, it has a buying guide on it! If you have any doubts give me a ring and I will give you the benefit of my amateur knowledge!

Throttle Body Bypass Question?
After looking at two zeds with their engines ripped out, my brain is full up!!!! I just want to make sure I am reading the write ups on this correctly before I carry out the procedure! At the rear of the engine there are two pipes feeding the heater core, branching off these two pipes are two smaller pipes on each on one. Are these the two pipes that feed the throttle bodys and can I just take a piece of hose and join it onto each pipe, to complete the bypass!

What is the bump in the air con line for?
No Mate, It is nearer the turbo:D I have found out what it is, it is a damper to stop noise and vibration when the AC clutch kicks in!!

What is the bump in the air con line for?
Inspection thingy!!!!! Can you give a slightly better description:confused: It is near the battery, it is about the size of a can of fizzy drink you get on an aeropplane!
