  3. The zed sump is already partially baffled! The a further prob regarding oil pooling in the heads, causing the sump to run dry on long sweping race track bends! There were some people creating a PCV valve fix to overcome this!
  4. JWT had a problem with idle/low load driveability with his mapping for 550 injectors/dual intake! This overcomes it! If you want a more techno answer ask John Dixon!
  5. I have heard the way the yanks calculate bhp is a slightly different formula to the british one. I am trying to find out whether this is not a rumour and is correct! If it is correct then what would be the formula to compare them?
  6. EErrr OK to clarify things a bit further! I don't want the difference between UK and US Zed's BHP figures, but the differance between how UK and US BHP figures are calculated and the formula to compare them?

  12. Hi Lymon, Thanks for the reply! I have heard there are two boosters, is this correct? Also could you adapt the NA clutch to work with TT boosters or do you have to change the whole thing?
  13. Hi, On my TT conversion I am in two minds whether to remove the dash to install the clutch boosters or not, I have got a very powerful clutch though? What do you reckon?

  17. Hi Smithy, To save all the letters toing and froing, it is easier if you just get the turbos dynoed or give us a flow chart! Why don't you get your car dynoed or one of your customers cars dynoed, or maybe even come to the SE Dyno day:D ;)
  18. Hello Mate, You take two pennies and use a glue called JB weld from a big halfords, suitable for high heat and glueing metal! You then need to take the old bolt in unit and find a suitable bolt to fill the vacant hole! Nice to see you back Lymon where you been!

  21. OK smithy, To be fair have you got a Dyno Chart so we have some form of comparison? Lagwise?
  22. OK! With all the chat about turbos lately, I thought I would start off! I think the defining factors for most people are Cost and Driveability, i.e. Lag! So here are my choices with cost being the deciding factor initially! £1kish Turbos to replace the stock items with, Smithys with uprated seals! £2kish Pe1420's 500bhp on tap with nigh on stock lag £3kish JWT 535's what's the point, get 500BHP for a grand less with pe's £3kish PE1820's 600+BHP not proven yet, have yet to be fitted and proved with uprated manifolds! £4kish TD05-18G mega HP 600RWHP Laggy but you have to make the sacrifice for BHP eventually! What d'ya reckon?
  23. I don't think we have time to design a new logo, so Tim might as well go ahead and with the old design! If the logo changes these could be worth a fortune!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
