Hi, Andy Duff has a plenum for me but we have a slight problem on how to get it down! If there is anyone going up to the land of warm beer, and travelling to the land of cold shandy (london), can you do me a favour and drag the plenum down for us!

Hi, I am going to get some made up, what these alledgedly do is to improve the pedal feel on clutch take up, meant to help especially with upgraded clutches! BTW timing belts should be changed every 45000 miles! If you look at the courtesey website, there is a comprehensive timing belt changing kit, it is expensive but it has most things you will need to change the timing belt and safeguard your engines reliability! In terms of gauges, water temp and boost pressure are the two most needed IMO, oil pressure is not really an issue! The stock Nissan Oil pressure sender is not a reliable unit which is a relief because the bearings are not a major concern! There are many high BHP Z's built on the stock Nissan bottom end, with no problems! Other gauges might be oil temp, egr but aggro to fit, Air fuel ratio gauge, a safeguard to show lean running which is a precursor to detonation!

The engine is already maxed out with fans, I suggest you join the Koyo Radiator group buy as this is about the only way to cool the engine more effectively on a Zed! £230 If the only mod you have done to your car is an exhaust, then getting intercoolers may be a bit of an expensive luxury, some people would argue they are neccessary when you increase the boost from stock! £600 upwards! On a turbocharged car the the turbos increase the heat of the air entering your engine, this is not desirable as it can mean the air fuel mixture can ignite in an unpredictable way, called detonation, which can destroy your engine! Intercoolers act as the radiator does for your water it cools the air entering the engine hopefully reducing the chance of detonation!

Boost gauge, Water temp gauge, Oil temp gauge! The oil pressure is not usually a problem with 300! Autuometer are reasonably priced, but Defi look and are the Dogs Danglies! But you will pay £500 for Defi:(

Hello Mate, Intake kit Apexi £80sih Chip, safest one is the JWT which you can very similiar ones for £100-500, shouldn't cause any engine problems! Boost upgrade, you can go the welding tip route/boost jet route or buy a boost controller for £150ish Get a very good comprehensive service to ensure your car can handle these upgrades! Make sure your brakes get bled and serviced properly! You will need them, if you have £500 left get the Skyline R33 Upgrade!

Hello Mate, There have been some discussion on TT.net about the new Nissan filter for the Z and its capabilites! I personally use Champion Filters as they seem to come out very highly on all the independant tests! I use Mobil1 15-50 fully synthetic, I would say most branded fully synthetic oils are suitable though!

Apparently I have been told, probably by the same bloke in the pub that WD40 is designed to attract water molecules! That is why you shouldn't spray K+N filters with it to attract dust as it makes them go rusty!

I will relay your concerns to them! To be truthful I don't care whether they are brokers or insurers, if they give us a good deal then great, sounds like they need to clear up their literature! Like I said I talked to their representative about loading/discriminating against grey imports and he gave me very positive feedback. Since probably 60% of the club own imports, I will emphasise the necessity to put them on a par with the UK cars! Gio every incident I have have had with an insurance company has always given rise to some small print clause, so try not to let recent events get to you!

Gio, I cannot comment on existing policies, but if that is an area you would like me to address with Aon then I will! The thing is with most insurance companies is that there is usually some small print somewhere that you only discover when you need it! Here is a chance to take a positive attitude to this offer and try and work with them sorting out small print like this! Which is probably the reason they need to examine documents to get some sort of gauge of what policies people want/have! I did talk with the representative about import 'loading' and explained to him that because of the contacts and knowledge in the Club we can get parts/cars repaired usually quicker than main dealers! He gave positive feedback about this and said this should not pose as an issue with the club deal! Gio is there a problem with Aon being brokers and not insurers?
