  1. Hi, After being a competitve Weight Lifter for 15 years, I decided to retire a couple of years ago! I now want to get back into the gym, but I am intrigued by what the optimum amount of training without using the old halfabolock stairrods! Some people say as little as Five sets per bodypart and some more!
  2. Hi Paul, But is it fair that the people who run the forum may potentialy lose a lot of personal wealth through legal proceedings! That is one of the reasons why we are setting up as a club! Guys, Give us a little break here we are all trying to work for a positive outcome, we are not trying to fleece anybody! The comittee who are mentioned in the list are people who Craig asked to help out when he was downsizing his role, literally a few months ago! In this interim period of change between one person running the forum to a group there are going to be Hiccups, and understandbly as people who care about this forum you want to know what is happening! But please take on board this is not a business, it is a group of individuals who are trying to help to run this forum in their spare time! We all want to have complete honesty and openess about what happens with everything in the club and hopefully eventually move to Electing members responsible for running the club and voting regarding major issues!
  3. I feel like breaking into the club funds and calling up relate to do some professional work so that everyone can achieve closure about this! How long has this feud been going on now, there is little proof of who did what where and when! And who on here has never done anything Idiotic when they are Drunk anyway! Jeff and Andy I am inviting you both publically to shake hands over this dispute and put this whole episode behind you! For the sake of both your businesses, reputations and most importantly the forum! Next year I think it would be a good idea for the club to hire some sort of Marquee (or a pair of Maccas undercrackers, hopefully washed)! As I think the main reason Jeffs tent was hijacked was because it was chucking it down, it would also give a focal point for the club!
  4. SSSSSHHHHAAAAAMMMoooooo MUUTTTHHHAA *********** I was nearly wetting myself laughing waiting for the that cab! Great to meet you all guys, I think next year will be proper BO! I think this was the best Zed meet I had been to so far, some great cars there and great people!
  5. Dunno Glen, To me whenever I have to cut someone out of a car it gives me a vivid reminder of what can happen if i go over the top! Makes me think twice whenever I hit the accelerator!
  6. Hi, Darren is available for work outside of garage hours, and I think you will find he is cheaper than Nissan rates!

  10. Hi, If that is the clutch pin, a bolt shape with a sphere at the top of it, you are better off buying an uprated version, SGP have them on special offer for if I remember right $29!
  11. Nelson, First you challenge poor old Bob about how he should install car stereo systems after he makes a living at it! Now you are challenging a bodybuilding champion about how people should train! Maybe some books on Diplomacy instead of Body Building are more appropriate:D ;)
  12. Hello Mate, I had a sticky gear change luckily for me it was only a slave cylinder £30! Do a search on this forum for SE or silvia engineering, some people love them some people hate them! Mark
  13. Lucky Git, I might have to join you at GoodPud next year! Will exchange the PCV hose with you at Billing Mate!
  14. Thanks guys! Been told on the Dell Optiplex forum that the maximum that will run on my Puta is a 60GB Hard Drive, any comments appreciated on the selection below! http://uk.pricerunner.com/computing/storage/harddrives/null/details?saved_products=0%2C146308%2C155255%2C126225&c_146308=146308&c_155255=155255&c_126225=126225
  15. Hi, Got to replace mine, after replacements in the past being unreliable, I wanted to know which brands people thought were the most relaible, I have heard seagate are pretty good! Mark
  16. Let it never be said that pimps drive beemers!!!!!!!!!
  17. uuummmm, There are a lot of ideas floating around, none of which are wrong! If you look at the way athletes/sportspeople train, they divide their season and routine into different periods, and I believe some bodybuilders do this as well! The reasoning behind this is to look at the body as a complete system with no one area working independantly of another! They develop all areas to try and assist their end goal! So an thrower in their off season preparation may do cardiovascular/aerobic/high rep work, this would assist aerobic levels! A bodybuilder in their off season may do a course of tendon/ligament/bone strengthening exercises, through partial reps and heavy weights. This would assist later on in the season, with protection against injury and improving strength levels! Then they go on to complete the main bulk of their training which would be hypertrophy work! I believe they continue to change this coming up to competition by adding aerobic work/higher reps! The body adapts to a particular type of exercise very quickly and when it adapts progress after that is very slow, if you continually change your routine and add periodisation on top then that is the solution to overcoming staleness!
  18. Another thing to think about is , have you been putting water into the rad via the rad cap or the reservoir bottle, you should check the rad cap water first!
  19. 1 Rep at 100% Max!!!! That is what weight lifters and power lifters do at certain points in the season and I don't see many impressive physiques on them! Certain people it does suit though, the whole point is not one person can say this is the right routine for you, what you have to do is to use a variety of coaches or ideas and find which one suits you the best! And remember, if at first you don't succeed, hide all evidence of trying in the first place;)
  20. Nelson do you feel some sort of draw to mike metzner?:D :D
  21. Hi Nelson, Yeah I have the 28'' version of this and it is the mutts nuts, you lucky bar steward:D
  22. Darren does them in situ for exactly this reason!
  23. It is at the rear of the block, I think on the driver side! Not the easiest place to view it?
