A bit worried? You bet!
I think we need to ring up Trisha and organise a show focusing on how we are going to organise tickets for next years Trax and how to achieve closure with regard to Trax 2003!

A bit worried? You bet!
Thanks Anita for putting yourself out and sorting out tickets in your own time! This is one of those threads that is partially a wind up and partially serious, but this is a little problem in a club that can see the bigger picture! Before Trax this year I volunteered to organise Trax and Billing 2004 (I was working this year). So what do people want organised for next year, with regard to tickets?

Stainless Steel clutch lines, Group Buy!
Get back to the muppet forum Duffer:p Unfortunately guys the clutch line looks like it will have to come with the Banjo so it will be £19.60 +VAT!!!!
-
Stainless Steel clutch lines, Group Buy!
It all depends if the we can reuse the existing banjo fitting, by unbolting it from the stock clutch line! If we can the price is 12.80 + VAT! If we have to buy another Banjo fitting it is 19.60+ VAT!

Stainless Steel clutch lines, Group Buy!
Hi Jaffa, there is nothing special about the group buy! I have the aftermarket part sent to me from America and I now know the fitments, I am taking it along to think automotive who give me trade prices and getting them to copy the aftermarket part! If you took off your old clutch line and did some ringing around you will probably find a Local firm who would make up the line in S/steel for you? Or you wanted to travel over to think automotive, or just post them the old line and get them to send you the new one! I thought it might be a nice gesture to get these things made up for people while I have the oppurtunity!

Stainless Steel clutch lines, Group Buy!
Not too bad, you have to jack the car up disconnect the old one two bolts, connect the new one and then bleed the system! Someone say if it is any more involved than that!

Stainless Steel clutch lines, Group Buy!
Hi Jaffa, It is the section that goes to the slave cylinder! It is meant to give you more feel on the uptake, so that it reduces the vagueness of take up! I haven't tried it but it seems like I can get it made up a lot cheaper than buying an aftermarket version, and for a tenner that is a quarter of a tank of fuel!

Ne1 going up north to London, need a favour!
Hi Eddie, I think Darren might be busy for a while at the mo, as his parents are unwell. I have not tried the braided clutch lines yet, but they are meant to improve the sensitivity of clutch uptake, which apparently helps with upgraded clutches! But for a tenner, it has to be about the cheapest mod you can do to a Zed, LOL!

Anybody Fancy a South of London Meet!
Hi, Meet Shahid (top Bloke) today to exchange some Z goodies and we were talking about how many people are in the Locality, James 300, Jock, Me, AndrewG and a loadmore! So does anyone fancy having a small meet say somewhere like the Purley Way, 10mins from M25 and south of Croydon!

A few drops of antifreeze
Hello Mate, you view them from the top! just follow the pipe that contains the temp senders into the block and angle the mirror there! They should have been changed when the cambelt was done!
-
A few drops of antifreeze
Hello mate, It might be the hoses that join the pipe holding your temp senders to the block! You have to get a mirror and angle it and try and see if they are leaking?

Det sensor insulation
Hi, Putting a new det sensor loom onto my engine, it is the wiring that fails on this due to the excessive heat and vibration in the centre of the engine! I was thinking about protecting it in some heat resistant coating/wrap or replacing the wiring on this for something more flexible/heat resistant! Any ideas!
