Just to set the record straight, I have a new policy with regard to how you address the admin, ask them respectful polite questions of any nature, and you will get an answer with the info you want within the legal and privacy laws we have to follow! Matty was banned because of the continual shit stirring he carried out and the beligerant manner in which he addressed the committee/mods over a long period of time, not for one single post. If you want evidence of this do a search although a fair few of the posts will be in storage, because of their inflammatory nature! Lets get one thing straight address me and the committee in a polite and respectful manner and you will get a lot out of us! First thing to do is to do a diagnostic on the ecu! If you can get someone to do a conzult reading for you do it! If the car won't rev past 2000rpm then it could be the afm.

An alternative source for your pong maybe a leaking heater core the smell of the antifreeze can be a bit acrid.

Completely agree with you there! Even at high engine speeds the worst that could happen is the pressure drop via the cooler could in theory drop the engine gallery pressure below the point where the excess oil pressure is diverted to the cooler, somewhere around 50psi. Result no oil to cooler and all available pressure in the galleries. At high engine speeds anyway the relief valve would otherwise be dumping excess pressure oil back to the sump. Yesterday 22:47 But here I would rather have the the oil pump giving pressure at the right spec, particularly when the engine is at high revs, too many engine components depend on this.

Easiest way stu is to just wrap a piece of string around it to the correct length, and then get the get the right amount of valleys/peaks on your belt.

I am not so sure Jeff. I thought the restrictor was in there to stop you losing pressure and too much oil being diverted to the sump via the cooler, I agree it will not cause higher pressure in the engine, but removal of it could cause low pressure in the engine.

It was only marginally interesting, the fact that they used doses of steroids at 1/50 of the amount that athletes use them at, only gives us a small indication of their capability! There is a cat and mouse game between the testers and the athletes at the moment! The athletes have a tendancy to use drugs that leave the system within 24-48 hours but they are very toxic, or drugs that are legal, i.e. insulin is very anabolic.

Proplus aka caffeine, is now legal as is pseudoephedrine, in any quantity, seems that they are relaxing the rules more and more!
