  8. Garry can I just say thanks on behalf of the club and it's members, I was running about like a headless chicken all day so it might have lapsed from my mind, there are many posts thanking people who contributed to the event and I would naturally include you within that definition!
  9. Also, speak to Ginn about 550bb turbos, 530's without paying for the JWT name by all accounts. John is there any info on these?
  10. http://www.amzperformance.com/z32/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=326&category_id=f7862dbdb937d318c2cce0d63c10c6dd& I think I have just shot my bolt  Stu, have a word with smithy about the GP pipes as they are designed for series two exhausts, he was gonna have a pair fitted to see if there are any probs?
  11. Anyone know anywhere, decent and reasonably priced?
  12. Stu the Na diff is more suited to cars around the 400bhp mark by all accounts, as you should be about the 500 mark it may be a little bit fierce!
  13. Hope Mr Sheen enjoyed it as well
  14. I have still got my autoglym gear, but I hear this has been topped by Meguiars now, what have you all found to be the best?
  15. Yeah the parking problem was a bit of a logistics nightmare! There was a sort of method to our madness, we tried to have a central channel, with a sort of clear area around the Marquee, to effectively split the parking area into two. This way if someone in the middle had to leave it would mean less cars would have to be moved/owners found, communicating this to everyone was difficult and I think that is why we need some tape or parking person to help with this.
  16. I reckon Jonce is completely NAKID below the photo in your front room :nono:
  17. Congrats to you and good lady Cos, you both deserve every happiness! BTW you were voted in at Billing, as head BBQer at next years Billing, Congratulations again :D
  18. Nice to meet ya and the family Paul! I think next year a BBQ might be in order but will Cos the official club BBQer maestro be in attendance?
  19. Thanks Smithy, Unfortunately the timetable went a but haywire due to circumstances beyond our control, but we shall endeavour to keep it under tabs next year The national events sec AKA Kirbz is looking into Trax asap, so hopefully it will be full steam ahead with that event!

Watch out or Mac will start to detonate :mac1: :D
  22. I think it is all a question of balance, yeah sure it will pick up a bad batch of fuel causing your car to det. But you have to weigh that up against not detecting it by ear and the probability of it happening in the first place, versus resiting the det sensor or the profound cost of replacing it in it's original position! It's up to Gio, but my bet is he likes things the way Nissan done em, so he will go the whole hog, but he has got the silver indicators so who knows :D
  23. Thats right it only works at below 3-3500rpm.
  24. Hi, I would like to say thanks to everyone, the people that helped, contributed and turned up to Billing, I really enjoyed it! I think it is the first time we have tried to have a combined effort to give ourselves a club "Presence" at Billing, and the overall impression I got was that everyone enjoyed the event and all of the main considerations ran well. But for the club to move forward we have to look at where we can improve things and I would welcome any constructive criticism to try and make it a bigger better event next year! There are some shortfalls, as myself and I believe all of the other main contributors have never organised something like this before and the learning curve for us was steep. The good thing is, I think we underestimated the popularity of the occassion and we should make everything bigger for next year, an indication of the clubs growth! The first thing is we have to make our area bigger, one of the things I am proud of is that we are one the rarer cars at JAE and we had a great number of cars/members there. So I think increasing our area by at least 30-40% next year would be advisable! Some of the things I noticed was that quite a few 300's were driving past the stand as the main entrance was not marked/obvious so maybe large notice next year would be benficial? Also on the theme of parking the area for parking needed some tape and stakes to mark it out and someone to keep an eye on it and adjust accordingly. A noticeboard with the timetable of events and alterations, outside of the marquee would be advisable! Maybe a sheet of A4 on the day, with username and real name in plain view of your car windscreen would let people know you are there, and have the templates in the marquee for people to fill out? A message board in the marquee in alphabetical order of username, so that people can make contact with each other! Also it might be an idea if we have a few people set up a 300zx camping area, a bit more sociable for the evenings! Have a few more T-shirts printed up for people to buy ad hoc as I am sure quite a few non members/joe bloggs wanted some, and maybe some other items, maybe mugs, tax disc holders etc, top work BTW Mac at short notice! I am sure there were a few other things at the back of my mind, but at least this is a start while it is all fresh in our minds, to hopefully make it better next year.
