  1. What happened to a couple of pairs of tights and some sawdust ? you cant beat the old remiedies you know :hammer: Lol
  2. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm NO,its about as much use as pair of sunglasses to a bloke with no ears !!
  3. Prolly as Mikey says the centre bearing or maybe the props mis aligned.
  4. All from "electrical stabilisation" Stronger spark giving better burn in the combustion chamber.Sounds GREAT doesnt it.One guy got 3 mpg more he claimed,oh ffs please give me strength.Bet there are people dumb enough to buy one though.Im a firm believer in the fact that as already stated if it was that easy car makers would have fitted it by now.
  5. What a load of rubbish that looks.surely it doesnt really plug into a ciggy lighter like it looks ?? As my ole man always said "A fool and his money are soon parted".Its bad that tat like that is available and legal really  Id love to hear the spill on how it reduces fuel use :smartass:
  6. I found a thema V8 on pistonheads. The car was a rotter but what a motor.I remember seeing one years ago in the 80.s.Rare old motor. With a cracking engine.A real street sleeper.I also have a soft spot for the strada 105tc and 130 Abarth.Typical Italian motors.Full of passion and flare but just would not stand the test of time.Either way you have to love them.Lambos, ferrari,s are all the same. This is why Merc and Porsche have done so well.Power with reliability. But imho just dont always have the soul of an Italian car.No more 037 pics my pants cant take it !!
  7. A road going 037,thats rarer than rocking horse shit !! what a car .Any delta integrales on the same site you found that .Not in the same league but checked how many left for 131 fiats ,especially the miafiora 2.0 twin cam.I couldnt find any.I loved them back in the day.
  8. Its not really a fair comparison. No v6 sounds as good as a v8.The v8 is a road car so has road exhausts, put a works system on it like the 70,s models had in the video and the poll result would be way different im sure :punk:
  9. Yeah it wasnt cheap, ten year gaurantee with it though.Been down eight now and its perfect still.
  10. You can get bathroom stuff though,Got slate effect in mine, cost £100 for 2 square metres mind you !!
  11. I agree,wide arch is so 90,s now.Id leave it as it is :cool3:
  12. With stock injectors and the other mods youve done you,d be lucky to make 420hp,the engine would literally melt at 28psi and would never make that pressure anyway on hybrid tubs :whistling:.Either your being conservative on the engines mods or the dyno is in some serious need of calibrating.Im sorry but 505 fwhp on stock injectors and 28psi !! it just wont happen.Something is seriously a miss here! .Im running a much higher spec than that with custom mapping by John Dixon and making 475 fwhp,so how you can achieve that is just well let me say impossible. The gt525,s im running were max,d out at 18.5 psi and simply couldnt produce any more boost due to heat soak so how a t25/28 hybrid can do 28 psi is lets just say ludicrous.
  13. I wanna get mine dyno,d there,should make 700hp on my 555cc injectors
  14. Stock injectors !! mmmmmmmm(scratches chin) thats a generous dyno aint it.
  15. By in haste repent at leisure as my ole man always said.38k car and you wanna run spurious vital components.its hilarious it really is.
  16. All sorted now guys, feel the love !!! Thread can stay as it is thank you Gary.I appreciate the kind offer of cleaning it up though
  17. Im glad you posted this Dave as your comments could be quite damaging to me when you THINK about it really as i was in the care of a customers car who may be a good friend but still the very mention of me "laying rubber" could put many people off using me for work on their cars.I like a joke ffs but that one didnt split my sidestrings i have to say and boiled my p*ss last night after it was posted .
  18. Yeah i cut them at the bulkhead instead of trying to unthread the sodding thing.Engine bit is easy really, the bit behind the heaterbox is a pita honest. You got small hands ? youll need them.
  19. Yes a good meet people, nice to see some new faces and catch up with others.Maybe i will attend in mine soon, who knows. Thanks Murt for your efforts.
  20. I shall be at murts for 12 too.
  21. ok matey,will do.
  22. Reconnect it,unless you are running a boost controller it needs to be plumbed in to for the ecu to engage safety boost to protect the engine.
  23. Its one of the wastegate solenoid signal pipes, used by the ecu to reduce boost under safety conditions id say.Thats ther only small vac pipes around that vicinity.
