  2. I would say the compressor wheel is wrong too,the clearance down the side is massive in the second pic,and is the nut missing ? get a core from Z1 mate,be cheaper.

  7. rubbing down rust and priming wont keep it at bay,you need to treat the metal with an agent that converts the corroded ares back to metal like jenolite etc bud,any pits need filling, dont use filler its porus, people have told me that fibre fill is best, its meant for bridging gaps but dries water tight.

  10. If anybody wants toi check an injectors firing in the car, remove the spark plug and injector plug, trigger it with a 9 volt battery and some wire, using a torch you will see the fuel atomising into the cylinder.
  11. Judging by the lines that far up the bore those rings were broken on assembly, they could never score that there other wise, ive seen cleaner pistons in high mileage diesels, thats a mess. Its awful to find piss poor workmanship like that.I did another re rebuild on another one of said specialists engines last year, that was scrap too, crank and block got binned. No forged rods, broken rings on second hand pistons.Thank god they are gone.At leat you no now and can get it done right.

  21. Stanley stuff is great and is the largest tool maker in the world, they own Mac tools too which have the market share in the USA,the ratchets are fine tooth which makes them stronger and easy to use in tight spaces.Get 3/8 as half inch is overkill.I rarely use half inch on most truck jobs in my day job.
