I have a mate who has one.came with a chipped ecu, induction kit and cat back exhaust oh and a very hard suspension set up.his car is a 932s swb tt in pearl yellow.
  5. on any renault 16v youll find an e torx bung at the front of the block next to the cast web for the gearbox .youll need a pin that drops into a drilling in the crank.
  6. get it shipped to your relatives then have it sent by the good ole us parcel service its very cheap if your not in a rush.takes about 5-8weeks.it will probaly halve the shipping cost.the import duty wont be much.budget on about 10% of the value in british pounds.
  7. thanks for that bud.much obliged.
  8. got any relations in the good ol usa.?
  9. Oh sorry guys.still might be a good time to buy one now the dollar is on its arse.
  10. these peeps like the exclusive element about their wares sometimes.shame though.
  11. heres the item number.2 days 2 go 170068435220.hth.
  12. great minds think alike.are there any areas where the material is thinner because of waterways.i have 2 pairs of spare heads but id prefer to use the ones on the car now.better the devil you know hey!
  13. will have to try both,my bluepoint die grinder only does fast and faster.might have to put a pair of molegrips on the airline!!!.
  14. fair shout mate as long as my face is smiling longer than yours was i dont mind. :p
  15. ive got a die grinder and have just ordered a 10mm belt sander so im gonna go for it.
  16. not you as well greg.as long as your paying like the rest i dont mind. :slap:
  17. thank you for the input guys.would love to spend on manifolds and camshafts but dont think i could stretch to that yet the missus would have my guts for garters and she is a reasonable woman!!!.has anyone had much success porting or polishing the heads.im going to do the lower plenum myself.
  18. my liver and kidneys cant do weeks anymore simon.too much abuse in my early days LOL :wack:
  19. decisions decisions Simon.i could also be tempted in a trip to France.should have my engine done by then.ran yours in by going to france so i could do the same if im feeling brave !!!.
  20. got room for one more Si.i dont mind top and tailing.
  21. ive mentioned this in another post but thought id put it here.whilst trolling through usa e bay i found a listing by the twinz selling their bumper.the advert states they have three available and they are the last three they will ever make.so unless someone buys one and makes a mould from it it may be gone for good.shame really as it was one of the few bumper upgrades that really suit a zed.
  22. whilst were on the subject of bumpers i was trolling through american e bay friday night and found a listing by the twinz for their grp bumper.the ad stated they were selling the LAST three and it wont be made again.so i guess anyone that wants one had better be quick.
  23. im sure someone may correct me but on stock tubs you may notice a slight difference if its cold bit it will only be negligible.
  24. yes to be fair it was quite advanced at the time but shopping hatch backs come with that now.nissans let down was that they were in un chartered waters when they designed it.the vtc set up was dropped in the end but it was done very quietly.and the cars lost grunt at the same time.
  25. the engine isnt that complicated really.a lot of jap motors are over engineered.once you wade passed the emission rubbish and the silly graded bearings and pistons all you have is a v6 with two tubs feeding it.most of the nissan knee jerk rebuild info can be ignored once youve done a few.i was petrified when i rebuilt my first.ask funki si on here.his motor is a gem.phew!! thank god. :)
