  7. youl have to blow the dust off them first!!
  8. stock tt pistons can live with 400hp but beyond their reliability is questionable.the crank and rods are good for 500.with the mods hes made he should see 400 at least.
  9. have you really fitted those mods on stock pistons?
  10. does anyone know if the early type(black front with green writing) blitz dsbc will read in psi and not just kg/cm.?
  11. Id be up for that.hoping to get my profec b soon and wind the boost up some more.
  12. the cylinder drop test is to check for misfire.
  13. did you have the air con or heater off when you checked the timing.the car will sense electrical load and picks up the revs to compensate.the base idle is 15 deg but the moment the revs are increased the timing starts to advance.
  14. my sentiment exactly!!!
  15. Id make sure its not vtc related before someone does the work and it doesnt cure it.unplug each side in turn, rev the engine and see if the rattle goes.

  17. the intercooler is a hks copy.you can still keep your fog lights and light bar when you fit one.
  18. check the engine cont fuse in the engine bay.
  19. shimmed my top arms out using washers measured with a micrometer.as long as you have enough thread left on the mountings its fine.all you need to do is get the camber in spec. as the front springs sag with age the camber and toe out will increase.the washers will sort it til funds allow.done mine two years ago and never had any issues regarding tyre wear since.
  20. your to honest mate.id have had the clutch and claimed for another.i had a courier leave some fishing gear i ordered outside and the cheeky bugger forged the signature with the name smith.how original !!.dear mistake on there behalf.kept the gear and flogged the replacements which they paid for.
  21. If the noise goes when you push the clutch that would usually indicate first motion shaft,or layshaft bearing.fire it straight back buddy.make them take it back out i would.
  22. I bought a cat c 306 and got it repaired.had it inspected by vosa who gave me a certificate.sent this to the insurance and the premium was the same.id change insurance mate.
  23. No your right.remote start or cars left with the engine running using a turbo timer will cause a major headache if it was to be stolen.the engineer told me this when my toad was fitted.he also said a zed would only need cat 2 cover due to its age.
  24. Thats good news.put me down for this please peeps. :)
  25. Im interested paul but not so sure if your using interblow in thornbury.
