  3. DONT use it for oil or fuel unless it is the right stuff. Single ply stuff is ok for vac, im unsure about water, better to get triple ply for water. Unless people know single ply is ok for water too? i.e. plenum bypass?
  4. Confirmed recieved, no idea as to the quality as i gave it to my sister unopened to give me for christmas! ;) better than some socks! Get your relatives to get you one for christmas to avoid dodgy presents. :duffer:

  7. Ah damn, if i read this earlier..... ive just got back from the pub! I could come out for a drive around tomorrow if you want? I spend all my time working out how to spend money on it, i really should drive more.
  8. From my experience dealing with him, he seems a very honest, decent bloke. If there are any problems he does get back in a most helpful and apologetic way. Although sometimes there are long periods of no response. Couple of things outstanding, but i have every confidence they will be ammended at some point.

  15. to do this pull off every vaccuum hose off one by one and put your finger over the nipple (metal bit with the hole you pulled the hose off). If the engine note is different between hose attached and finger plugged then there is a vacuum leak. Checking the boost hoses is rather more involved, but not hard if you are a handy sort, the easiest being the four big fat pipes at the front of the engine.
  16. wheres a good place to gather? Station is maybe easy to find. Regal is a good place to get a drink, its right in the centre but theres a bit of parking outside.

http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=83678&highlight=gloucester Who wants to on Friday night? I dont know wheres a good place to meet up, Train station? Could wander in to Regal for a drink, or even park up outside it?
  18. olliezx replied to olliezx's topic in Events - UK
that meet looked pretty good, pre my zed time tho.
  19. FAQ this info, bookmarked for later use.
  20. i'll have the interior ;)
  21. Your best bet (although more expensive) is to get a new one, a second hand one will likely fail at some point in the non too distant future. Try z-centre or mjp for good prices, or import one from the states.
  22. To do the whole car you will need: Energy Suspension Master Kit. Energy Suspension full rear arm kit. Energy Suspension rear ARB drop link set. Nismo front upper arm bushings, inner and outer. and while you are at it a Nismo gearbox mount. and why not do the OEM gearstick bushing too :) in total that will set you back £245 or so from Smithy or elsewhere. fitting these will make you wonder how you ever lived without them, in my opinion!

well if anyone nearby wants to come for a drink on Friday, i think there may be a couple of zeds meeting up. :duffer:
  24. Thanks for the responses. Does anyone acctually have a picture of how it is supposed to be? I have not dealt with one of these before. The lugs you mention look more like they are designed for a puller. Would be great if someone could post a picture.
