  1. anyone know of a good sandwich plate that doesnt leak!?
  2. colour: I cant see the close-up of the paint, but it may benefit from a blow-over of the same colour, or even just detailing to make it shiny. spoiler: I dont like it, and it will lower its resale value being the size it is. lights: I say leave them, they are blended (it is a good job?) and it also has a tailgate skin on, so without the spoiler it will look neat. these lights + smooth tailgate skin are good. wheels: Change. Dark centres, highly polished lip!! my favourite. will suit the dark colour of the car.
  3. Thanks for all the tips guys/girls ;) So recommended so far: (And the Alpine by far looks the nicest blue) Alpine CDA-9853R Nakamichi CD500 JVC KD-LH811 Sony Cdx-M800 although liking: and this looks good for the price: Beat 500 DVD USB/SD
  4. What he said! Any longer than 30secs at standstill is counter-productive. Oh, and Greddy Profec B Spec 2 or the Profec E (if you're flash).
  5. Well its been put rather clearly, its down to the person. One person may help another in distress, when another will turn away. If Graham was 10 miles from me, no doubt to it I would have offered my assistance, that position is an invaluable help to a huge amount of people on here. Theres no denying that refusing and turning away is not helpful to the people here. As for Jeff, he may have shown the offer partly to drum up business, but it sure as hell helped out a lot of people. Theres no denying it benefited people.
  6. I'm after a cd headunit that illuminates blue (mainly) + red to match my blue-led dash conversion. Nothing too fancy, just plays cd's! Anyone any ideas? I have a JVC unit that is perfectly fine, just the wrong colour! :smash:
  7. you will get MUCH more back by breaking it, and thats not just because I wouldnt mind some parts! Registering interest in: Polished Plenum Boost Controller Top Water Pipe Clutch slave Greddy oil sandwich plate Konis + Adjustable arms
  8. good good, i'll be going ahead in due course then ;)
  9. Anyone know for a fact that r32 dont? I often see suspension parts advertised for 300zx "AND" R32 fitment... The idea being cheap coilovers.
  10. The only reason i havent bought these pipes yet is because I was unsure of the positioning of the lambda sensor holes, are they in a good place? And to answer your question, YES replace them! Don't run without them. Soooo much easier if you have the downpipes off the car, as you have.
  11. you should write on your cheque stubs!
  12. Matt in the daily Telegraph said it well:
  13. You 100% about r32?
  14. Megan coilovers can be had for about the same price from US ebay, spring rates are between Tein and D2. For my SWB im thinking £210 KYB AGX with ebay £250 Ground Control adjusters? ebay to get it low but still comfortable. dont skyline coilovers fit the zed? if so, which exact version? They can be had at good prices!
  15. mine came loose while doing the pcv hoses. Its tie-wrapped at the moment, going to jb-weld it in at some point. I posted a possible piece of functional-bling on another thread about this... rather like Smith's smaller fuse-box. If we could get someone to make one. Smithy? :)
  16. This also gets my vote, or even the club taking part responsibility with fully paid-up members.
  17. pristinealloywheels.co.uk they collect and deliver, call them for a price, but was reasonable.
  18. After checking with Danny, here is a schematic, just in case it helps anyyone in the future ;)
  19. 60litres gets : 300 motorway (23mpg) / 200 urban (15mpg)
  20. My advice is DONT! The fog light was wired like this in my car and the excess current draw has melted the entire length of wire down to the fusebox (and god knows where else i couldnt see). I had to replace the wire. Run a good strong dedicated and fused positive from the battery to behind the centre console and then run all electrical gubbins off this.
  21. all 4 hoses I have are female at both ends, can anyone confirm this is correct? I really dont want to run into problems in the garage mid-fit. ('90 Import TT Manual SWB)
  22. Yes i've been climbing for years. Get outdoor climbing it is so much better. I was in Sheffield for 4 years, there are tons of close spots, some say the best climbing in England!
  23. anyone found any good ones?
  24. I hope you dont mind me dragging this up, but I just aquired some Goodridge hoses. I dont want to start the job and find they are the wrong ones. What is the difference and can I spot it without attempting to fit, thanks.
