  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Looks fantastic as usual Joel. Not taking any chances with your choice of parking spot I see!

LOL - I reckon most of us do that.... I know I do!

Sadly, even though I parked like that, on an end bay, in Sainsburys car park yesterday, some idiot still managed to scuff my Zed's rear bumper.??

Luckily I was able to polish the worst of it out, but there still remains some light crazing in the lacquer; albeit not so visible unless you look hard enough.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

....And as for what I did to my Zed yesterday - I took mine our nice and early, did the supermarket shop at 7am and then took the scenic route home. And then gave it a nice wash before the sun got too hot....

Then following the little mis-hap in my post above, I got the dual action polisher out and buffed the rear bumper to polish out the scuff. Although I didn't stop there... I was enjoying myself so much, that I went over the whole car. Firstly with Meguair's Ultimate Compound, and then with Autoglym SRP. I then gave it two coats of Chemical Guy's Jet Seal - which came recommended by Peach - I love that stuff!

My Zed is now sitting in the garage with a very nice shine. I'll leave the Jet Seal a few days, and then add a nice layer of wax - probably Purple Haze. to bring out the blue-ness ? All ready for Sandringham on the 5th!!

I love it when people want to come over and chat or take photos. I have a family who walk past the car to and from school, I see them every so often when Im out cleaning it. The young kids always makes a comment to his dad, so last time they walked past, I asked if he wanted to sit in it....made his day!

Paid a visit to infinity today to finally get my horrendously loud exhaust sorted, much quieter drive home, I was going to pop in and see Jimmer but had to get back for a delivery

What did that exhaust set you back if you don't mind me asking?

£750 all in, that was for a 2.5” system

Nice one mate...!

I'm off to Infinity on the 25th - I'll share the pics once done ?

Took them around 2.5 hours to do mine, plus on the x-pipe they have left decent length straight pipes, so I can add middle boxes to tweak the sound

They said about 2 to 2.5 hours, so that's good to know.... I'm not going for the X-pipe though, basically I'm just having my Mongoose copied - same 2.5 tubing as you - and I'll reveal my choice of tails once done ?

Did they fit cut outs?

That would tweak the sound . . .(off road use only of course)

No, I didn’t want anything too loud, my previous zorst could be heard half a mile away and droned at 2k revs, new one is far quieter

Another MOT pass today.? I have owned this Z for 12 years and it has passed first time every year plus all first time passes in England also. So pleased with my Fairlady and the MOT tester plus his fellow workers loved it. Did 685 miles since last MOT so need to drive it more.
