I just finished work, and after having a particularly hectic, frustrating and quite worrying evening i went to go and pick up the other half from her dads as she had got too drunk to to drive home. I swung the car round and as i was reversing onto the drive i managed to scrape down the side of my passenger side skirts on a hidden rock which was sticking out of the grass verge. Its scrapped quite badly, taking off the paint and leaving the fiberglass showing from underneath.:thumbdown: Any tips for sanding, sealing and painting? Not too bad really, but it was kinda the final straw after the night i had.

Last night got a very heavy waterleak above passenger side turbo and running down side of gearbox when engine is running. Totally inaccessible I cant even see the leak source under the car. I think it needs to be towed to a garage and gearbox dropped to get to. Any Z garages near Surrey / S.London im SM2 area. Thanks

HI All, I'm gonna need some front brake pads for my Z. J-spec N/A Auto, 1995. Anyone know how much they are and where to go for the best deals? Quick fit advised they were getting low (which i already knew) and quoted £86 based on the UK pads (lifetime guarantee apparently). I think this is way too high so thought i'd ask on here :) Peter

Well first off, took the car down to my local garage to get them to give me a hand, getting the new exhaust on, managed that, and booked it in for the MOT. well went and finally filled it up and gave it a good run, god is it quick. specially when the turbos get going, gear box is smooth, think i have a warped disk on the front as i got some shaking when braking from 70 down to 40 where it subsided. any way good thing is so far since getting shot of the old exhaust, i have no smoke :clap::clap::clap::thumbup: anyway picking her up Monday so can let you all know if she passes or not. tbh I'm expecting a few advisories, and fail on one part.

Hi, I was thinking of getting this done to my NA at the end of the year, Anybody know of any zeds with a LPG conversion ? I think using the arial hole near the boot would be a good filler point if you moved the arial to the rear schooshy, as mines not used. Lee

Now ive been using 10/40 semi synthetic, but of late and its not getting better, ive got some tapping at the top end, probably lifters. That i can live with, but ive now got what sounds like a baring or tensioner pulley noise, but appears to be coming from inside middle- ish of the engine. It appears worse when warm, so oil thinner obviously, so to keep the noise getting on my nerves, its embarrassing when stopped at traffic lights etc in town, sounds like a diesel lol ( actually not that bad) im thinking of user a thicker oil, i had heard a member use 20/50 and seem to cure it or quieten down a bit. Any thoughts..............? Im changing my engine in the summe…

Today we somehow managed to get the zed to kind of run. I say kind of as it kept ticking over then dying when you went to hit the gas. The timing and the map is all wrong but it did run on all six. After we kind of got it to rev up my neighbours wife came around in a right mood telling us in no uncertain terms to STOP IT. Under no account could we carry on as the smell of petrol and terrible noise was simply to much for her. I asked her when she was going out so we could have another try, and it seemed to annoy her even more saying it was not the place to do it. Cut a very long story short I went round there later and I told her I would try and keep it down or send …

my old maf had 5 connector tabs a-e i think, then the one i brought from someone only has 4 connection tabs, b-e. is this ok? its cured the prob with the old maf not working and this one obviously is but is the (a) tab actually connected to anything as it turns out that the clicking noise i thought was coming from under the car is actually from the engine - a misfire! could this be from this new maf or is it totally unrelated? also is it still ok to drive the car lightly with a misfire for a day or two until the garage can fit it in or will it cause damage?
