Easy guys Has taken me a while to notice this one. When accelerating on a poor surface I've become aware that somethin is a amiss. The first time it happened I put it down to stiff suspension and a poor road surface but its happened a couple of times since. Not very often - but I generally dont cane it unless on a good road surface anyway. 99% of the time there's no indication of a problem. When it does occur it feels like something isnt meshing correctly, either in the gearbox or the diff - or so I presume. Cant pinpoint it exactly - as I lift off whenever I hear/feel it happening for fear of damaging it further. It happens only briefly for a second or so,…

Ok been busy stripping off parts today and found these 3 connectors down by the HICAS solenoid. They arent there on my UK manual so is it something for a Jap spec or an auto? Second pic is a harness that has been sliced down underneath the PS reservoir which from what i could see was going into the RH headlight. Where is the other end likely to be and has anyone got one of these that i can have? Thanks folks Marty

Hmmm, well i just sorted my dodgy HIDs and then noticed that the left exhaust is smoking slightly. I mean really slightly on idle, hardly noticable, but when revved a bit... hey presto white smoke!!! The smoke dissapates when you take your foot off. what do you think? Turbo seals? or PCV Valves? or have i just got some unburnt fuel in the system as i was revving quite hard to show off my new exhaust to my mate? :blushing: I guess i will give it a bit of a run and see how she goes.

Just thought you guys might be interested to know that Z34 wiper blades fit the Z32. I always looked at the Lexus IS250 blades which were pretty neat. These seem to fit reasonably well too. INFINATELY nicer than the universal fit Bosch ones with the huge knuckle on top.

Hi everyone, I very new to the scene I currently own a black Escort RS Turbo S2 in show room condition which I have owned for almost 8 years now and I'm looking to buy my first nissan 300zx twin turbo but the only thing is I don't know alot about them my question is, is it truth the uk models only came in as a single turbo version and the imports are twin turbo's and the fairlady's are only the jap versions with better specs than the uk models? If any one can print me out or a link to all the different specs and common problems with the early models and what improvements they made with the later models uk & imports as I would like to know as much as possible abo…

I just had an HID kit fitted by Zedworld yesterday, and i noticed this evening that only one side is working... When i remove and replace the wires in the connection points on the one not working, it comes on for a brief second then off again. Same with when i switch the lights off and on, it comes on for a brief instant and then goes out again. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Just wondering how this plumbs in really. What I don't understand is that the AVC-R comes with its own single solenoid. But the zed has two turbos and two solenoids. So does that me I need to order and additional solenoid? The manual on Apexi's site makes no mention of linking up two solenoids to the AVC-R? Lastly, where can I get one for a decent price? thanks, Jay

Just wanted peoples thoughts on this, i will shortly be fitting a set of these courtesy of car mad  .... this is to kind of finish off what i want the front to look like, but am slightly stuck over the colour choice. I was all set on body colour (kh2) grey, but i've seen pics where they look really nice in black or a matt lighter style finish to match the bumper as close as poss? would have others done? (help) Chris

Lads, Finally got the fuel pump back into the car. Charged up the battery because it was dead. Put 20 quids worth of petrol in & still it won't start. Keeps turning over & over but not firing. Have read various posts on the forum but I can't hear the pump priming at all. What else do I need to check. Car has been laid up for awhile if that's any help Thanks :)

Here are some pics of a couple of Z31's that I've had for a few years now. 'The Machine' is an '86 N/A Z31 which may be restored in the future (and fitted with the full leather interior from the black 'Z' below) or sold on as a summer project for someone else to enjoy I put a new battery on it last week and it fired up first time The silver Z31 is going to be converted as a 'tramp drifter' for this season, in order to run it in whilst my Z32 build is ongoing The plan is to remove the rear hatch and rear windows, fit a 4 point weld in roll cage (that I've just sourced for £50!) and convert it into a flat back OZ inspired UT/31. The tir…

Just wondering. (All pro's & con's of SIDE MOUNTED INTERCOOLERS vs FMIC aside) Assuming that you had the correct custom made piping, surely a FMIC for a mk IV Supra or GTR (still running a twin turbo setup) would fit a Z32 TT??? I know that you can import Greddy and HKS FMIC's specifically for the Z32 from places like Z1/CZP etc. but second hand FMIC's are a lot harder to find in the UK. Whereas other makes and models are better catered for. Just wondering if anybody could advise on this :thumbup1:

Haven't had the Zed long and want to get an oil change done. As a new Z owner i've used the search tool and as expected i've loads of different makes of oils to use which is great. The problem I do have, is that I always order from Opie oils and when I've done the search on their site for the oil/oil filter service packs https://www.opieoils.co.uk/product-finder/car/oil-filter-service-packs/nissan/1992/300/PETROL/300/21298/product-finder-2.aspx he recommends 5w-30 but on a recent post by the oil man (opie oils) on a thread that yewcheck started 'Best oil to use' he says we should be using and I quote 'Best oil to use would be a synthetic, we recommend either 5w-40 or…
