I could buy a couple of leather settees, that are in good condition (Burgundy in colour off of fleebay. Could get em for £50 if no-one else bids). http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-and-3-seater-burgundy-italian-leather-sofas-/130392325696?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Home_Garden_LivingRoom_Sofas_UK&hash=item1e5bfcfe40 I got black series 1 seats, so they are plain not ribbed. So if I got these settees, i could cut all the big bits of leather and re-trim the doors, arm rest glove box etc. Has anyone done this, would it work. I can't see a problem with it. Tell me I'm wrong if I'm being a kn*b!! Would Burgundy be too close too black as a contrast, bearing in min…

  2. ...I've done all the easiest pieces (glovebox, panels around centre console and lid), just got doors, forward panels and rear panels to do. I've struggled enough with the smaller pieces, mainly trying to get the :censored:ing corners right and Ive just taken a look at the next piece Ive got to do and thought sod it there's no way I'm gonna get that right :hammer: I just don't have the eye or the patience to do this sort of thing. who do you reckon I could take the remaining plastic panels and material to and just tell them to stick it all together right - something like a small craft shop? PS. finally got my handbrake gaitor done though - the old warn piece of s…

Guys need to remove the side windows basically. Have the door cards off and was wondering if it's just as easy as removing the top 2 "stop" points that stop the glass from raising up any further. Does the glass then lift out of the runners?

Hi guys, I'd be grateful for an honest opinion... I have the opportunity to buy a Z32 which in all respects in perfect...except it's an auto. Always been a manual die-hard, so is an auto Z32 Twin Turbo worth getting? Is it quick enough and is the experience worthwhile? How much better is the manual twin turbo? It would be great to hear from those who have driven both. Thanks.

Anyone have a diagram or instructions of how to plumb in an EBC with an external wastegate and a single turbo. The wastegate has top and side ports and I'm not sure how to do it, want it ready before I go to John D's this weekend.

I have some starting problems at the mo which mean I need to keep charging the battery. I've been told that I need to remove the battery before I charge it, otherwise the loom will get charged as well. Is this right, cos it's a bit of a pain in the neck? Am I going to cause problems if I charge the battery in situ? I've always done that with other cars I've owned.

I recently bought my wife an Alfa Romeo 147 that has gas struts to lift and support the bonnet. At the Japfest show I saw numerous examples of vehicles with the same application - although I dont recall ever seeing a 300 with them. Has anyone ever done this mod ? Any pics ? Any guesses on the required push pressure that would be required ?

I know there's a lot of brake threads but I couldn't see the answer to this question (which I'm sure is glaringly obvious but I just want to make sure)... ...I have relatively new EBC red stuff pads on my stock calipers all round. If I get some R33 GTR brembos on the front, can I used the existing pads or will I need to buy new ones to fit? Cheers

jeez... it's been about 4 years since I bought a car battery. Seem to have gone from £45-£50 to £90 now. anyone got a decent used one knocking about? or any place to get better deals? ( imaging shipping is the killer ) *o.k. found some 068's for more like £70.. guess you just have to pay the bill and keep it charged up this time!
