I really like it, took some fettling, including the part that is circled in one of the photos, had to cut down and fibreglass/fill the outside legs, but it does look good, and had to tack weld a new bracket on the wiper motor, but i'm chuffed, looks tasty in the flesh, not OTT... all comments welcome! Just need a brake light now.... (spoiler only cost 5 quid off ebay, and had enough paint left to spray it my self too...) I will be replacing the rubbers where it meets the boot with yellow rubber when i find some, using some of my niece's bike innertube at the mo, haha.... the exercise will do her good :)

Went through the MOT (German equivalent ) today with no real problems, started the car to drive back home and it wasn´´t running right at all. Sounded and felt a little like when one of my injectors died recently, just not so drastic. alot of vibration on the gear stick and the car is only slightly sounding like a tractor, hesitates when accelerating from idle but runs fine when going over 2500 rpm although when you accelerate you can feel the power isn´t there although boost gauge shows full boost. Could this be another injector on it´´s way out or is there something else I can check ( when the engine cools down ) that might cause these symptoms. As always. any…

...sailed through! That's almost my first year of Zed ownership under my belt, and another year to look forward to! The only thing the guy mentioned was that the suspension was a bit soft. He said the shocks and springs were in good condition, but just that the car drove a bit 'soft' which is something that I've noticed recently also. I had the car up on axle stands for about ten days a few months ago while I refurbed the brakes, ever since then the suspension has been a bit wallowy and floaty, anyone have any idea why this might be? I think it may be a perfect excuse for me to get some coilovers! :whistling:

ok so after disconnecting TPS and reconnecting it the car ran great all the way to work. Even when driving to shops at break it was fine. Coming out of work at 11pm i turn the car on and the revs kept hunting up and down. tried the TPS disconnect again but the car stalled. Started her up again and decided to drive gently. Felt like missing alot and by the time i got round the corner i decided it just wasn't right. Pulled over and tried disconnect TPS again and the revs seemed to idle normally but with a bit of missing. Now when i tried to go the car kept getting to 2k and jolting back and forth between 1500 and 2000 rpm and wouldnt really go alot. I tho…

What a crap ending to a $hit weekend! On my home today. after drving down to my Mums after my uncle passed away suddenly this morning. Coming off a roundabout (in the inside lane) when the Citroen Pic-ar$e h*ole in the outside lane decided that they would continue round the rounabout and into the rear side of the zed! looked in my rear view mirror and the car carried on and looked like he was going to the garage just off the r/bout. Sped down the carriage way to do a U-turn and back to the garage where I was hoping to find the Citroen. No such luck he'd gone. Charged off down 1 of the 2 exits he could have gone down but no joy. Reported it to the Police…

i need some advice... i have a jap 1990 lwb TT, now i know its not worth much as its only and auto import, but its mine and i don't want to scrap it. im trying to decide what to do, its currently immobile in my garage as the engine has died, no mot or tax, all it really needs is an engine swop to be road legal, its completely rust free, do i get a new engine for it and fitted? think zedworld charge about 1500 for it, or do i scrap it and start again? thinking of getting a manual n/a swb if i do and does anyone know anywhere other then zedworld that can do the work ie source and fit a new engine? preferable near sussex. if it comes to it ill ha…

Does anyone have specific instructions for installing the TC in the zed? I've looked in the FAQ section but the links dead . I've got the standard guide that came with it but was hoping to save a bit of time having to identify all the connections/wires first. Cheers Dave

What a saga to get an MOT! Took it to the garage last Wednesday for the MOT, called the garage to see how we got on to be told they had to take it to another mot station as it is to low for their ramp and had to go over a pit, called back later to find it failed on some bulbs, handbrake and lower front n/s 'wishbone' Established they meant the bottom arm so got one from baz for Friday, worked my arse off Friday afternoon as finish at 1pm to get it done for a retest, 4.15pm all done and heading back to test, get a call from the garage to say MOT people closed early for bank holiday weekend so wll have to be next week! Dropped it of following Wed…
