I bought some new crystal clear indicators and some of the crystal rear lights. the indicators were the only ones that supplied lamps, and they were orange (which deffied the point of being crystal clear) and don't fit. and the rear lights didn't supply any, so i still can't fit them. My existing indicators lamps are a bit of a wierd fitting, the pins are slightly different hights, but opposite each other. and only have one point of conection in the holder. was just wondering if i can get the silver lamps to fit the holders, or do i need to get new holders. also is the black grease stuff on the rear lights really nescecary?

I've got my zed up on stands at the moment to change the prop and I want to set about tidying up the underside while im there. The sills need looking at but I'm hoping to get them done by a professional so I just want to dab a bit of paint over the suspension components etc and any rust I can see both for protection and for aesthetics. Then I'll probably use something like waxoyl/shutz/dinitrol to underseal it once everything else is all cleaned up. Can anyone recommend anything for painting the suspension arms? Is POR-15 still recommended for this sort of stuff? Cheers, James

Evening All, I decided to change the front tyres on my zed today and noticed a grazed mark on my coolant bottle just above the low level mark. After closer inspection and a low level of coolant i decided to top it up slightly and noticed the grazed mark was actually a small minute hole and it was seeping coolant. Checked the radiator water and it was fine, it didnt need topping up. Wanted advice really.Would it be best not to drive the car until I change the bottle?...or is it something I just need to keep an eye on. Regards Kash

As above, seemed to be generally doing circuits of the Battlefield services (Two Henrys) and the bypass! I'm was pretty sure it was Little REDZED's car, but just looked and I think it's been sold to someone else, but pretty sure that is the car.

driving from brentwood i hammered it and at 90 it stopped pulling again for a second and a half so my cars old problem is back. didnt redline but makes me wonder............... Can a faulty speed sensor cause these sorts of havocs? It happens when high loads at high speeds.... i can redline at any other gear except 3rd and above and so cant tell if its Injectors, loom or a faulty Speedo im getting seriously fecked off with this car now. it runs smoother but still cant handle high loads.. It used to do it around 3rd gear at 70-80 mph when it was auto and now its manual its slightly higher speed before doing it but it is still there! :( This Post…

Just reading the post about riding in a Ferrari 360 and thought I'd share a horror moment I had in one..... My son's best friend's dad had one and he came round one day to pick him up from my house. While chatting to him and generally shooting the breeze he offered the car saying 'go on take it for a spin'. I declined but he persisted until I thought 'probably wont get many opportunities to drive one so what the hell'. So off I go in it - F1 gear box and LHD. Great fun until I get back to mine where he is waiting outside my house chatting to my Mrs. As I pull up outside my place I KERB BOTH offside alloys REALLY BADLY !!!!! F*CK F*CK F*CK !!!!! Possibly the…

Hi all, right had this leak for a long time now. It`s evident on the bottom of the crank in front of the sump but behind the pulley, i`m guessing this is just where it drains too. So far i`ve had replaced all cam shaft seals, crank seal, rocker covers have been resealed along with the 120k service pack. Pulling the belt cover back, i can see the pulleys have oil on them so obviously the belt too..great. So am i right in suspecting that unless the cams are scored the pulleys themselves are the likely culprits. If so do they have o rings or do they just wear internally? Cheers in advance.

Hi, I have just recentely got my old Z back off my brother he dosent want it anymore and said said I could have it back for £150 lol so I couldnt resist. The body work is good, hardley no rust just needs a spray as the paint work is dull and a few little scratches ect. It is a n/a auto at the minute and sure this question has been asked several times but here I go lol, Is it a simple swap, are the engine mounts ect the same or is welding needed. also is the wiring loom the same or do I need a TT one? I know the ecu will be different, will I have to change the front bit of the prop or the whole thing? I know a na auto box wont last five minutes so hopef…

Whats going on. I hadn't seen a zed in the flesh for easily 6 months. I left mine at home for a hour and was in the VW when a white one went past on my way towards the manor. Then 10 minutes later a red one flew past while near crystal peaks. I only bought my zed just last week and have been keep an extra careful eye out for others and the day i leave it behind 2 come along at once.
