Mate took me out in his firrari 360, it was pretty quick I must say but diddnt feel as fast as my zed (silver streak) was pretty disapointed at the interior to compared to the zed but the noise was amazing, it was an smg model and my god can it rev high, all in all I much prefered my zed, cant wait to own one again in the future.

Ok here is an update for those who asked for weight spec of our one piece propshafts Swb tt manual standard weight = 15.88 Kilo Swb one piece weight = 9.52 Kilo Weight save = 6.36 kilo Lwb original units are around 12% heavier so the weight saving is around 7.1 kilo`s Here is a swb shown in pic 1, pic 2 shows a new unit along side an original two piece unit, pics 3 and 4 shows the quality of the tube weld onto original spec flanges. So as a reminder again they are £225 + vat which works out less than fitting a Genuine Nissan centre support bearing and are lighter too. Jeff TT

I just drove back from golf this evening, and car was driving fine. I pulled over to speak to a mate, i put the car in D and when i pulled away she seemed to be revving quite high and not changing gears like normal (i have an auto.) Then all of a sudden it felt as if she slipped out of gear altogether and no matter how hard i revved no drive or power. (i didn't have to rev hard to work this out.) Pulled over turned the engine off. Started her again and she wouldn't select reverse, but did select D. so pulled off, a bit further down the road same again, out of gear - no power and revving. Pulled over again. Bonnet open, but not a lot to check - levels seem ok. …

I bought a Momo steering wheel off ebay that came with a 300zx boss. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120613175142&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT However this boss is nothing like the fitting on the car. Does this look correct?

I have but the most biggest smile on my face. I managed to get the injector plugs on properly as it turns out i was on 5 cylinders up until now. The car is soooo smooth on idle and pulls quicker. Then i tackled the DET sensor Bypass....... the car is running how it was when i first got it....... then once bypassed it was a Whole Different monster!!! boost quicker aswell seeing as the ignition is not retarded no more so everything goes quicker :) its a damn beast now and im still only on 7psi. cant wait to get it on stock boost for casual driving and 1 bar for hot days next year. I am SOOO CHUFFED!!!!!

had an issue with the car at the beginning of the week where it felt like it was running on 5 and a half cylinders and I suspected a faulty injector. Turned out injector No1 was on the blink. Changed the injector yesterday and it seems to have cured the problem, at least to 90% The problem is that I still have a slight hesitation and the feeling it´´s running on 5 and 3 quarter cylinders on idle and pulling away from the traffic lights. Onnce the car is moving and above 1500 rmp it drives fine. I measured all the injectors and they all read between 11.9 and 12.1 on resistance so they should be okay. does anyone have any idea what could be causing this ? …

while messing around in the car today i found a damp patch of carpet pretty much in the middle under the brake pedal . lifted the carpet for a better look and the damp area felt sort of greasy . is this the dreaded heater matrix . the damp patch is in a central position on the carpet as opposed to being wet down the side of the centre console . how difficult is this job gonna be for a 6"3 bloke with sausage fingers? cheers andy

I'm having a couple of issues with the brakes but first a bit of history. I've refurbed all 4 callipers and put new seals on them all. I've also replaced the brake lines from both rear callipers and some to the ABS actuator as well. I've replaced the rubber hoses with HEL SS hoses all round and finally I flushed the old fluid and replaced with Motul dot 4. The problem I'm having is that the brakes are binding (all of them!) and even though I have bled the system following the manual and no air is coming out, the pedal still feels a bit spongy :confused1: All I can think is that there must be an airlock somewhere? There are no leaks coming from any of the conn…

Ordered a complete set of door seals, roof seals & targa seals a couple of years back from Courtesy Nissan. The targa & roof seals are good but the door seals are different & suspect from a SWB - could anyone confirm this? Part numbers on my new seals are: 80830-30P00 80831-30P00 My car is a '93 UK Series 2 car. Any help would be great - what are these seals for & what do I need LOL! :chinese:

HI all, Just thought i'd warn any prospective buyers of this 300zx bumper......well.....not too :mad2: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260649307116&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT It looked great before it was put on but it fits like absolute crap, i'm not impressed at all :taz: . Now it's gonna cost even more at the bodyshop to get it sorted so it looks half decent. Can't even send it back as A: they don't accept returns and B: i've already fixed my fogs into it :( Hope others can learn by my mistakes. Peter
