when I get to 120-130mph the speedo jumps about and then reads 100mph even tho I am excellerating. Is it the conversion from KPH to MPH that is faulty or have I gone faster than speed of light and have caught up with myself or I have gone off the clock and back round =280MPH. Standard car so I think not.

Registered on a T plate. Good to see that one of the last Z32's made its way over here. Wonder how much it would have cost the owner? 300ZX.CO.UK

and NO that is NOT an offer... ;) www.spitandpolish.com 16" wheels = 39.50 each plus 6.00 valve and balance if you leave tyres on normally takes a couple of days if you drop the wheels off with them, but they can do a one day turnaround if you deliver car by 7:30am, you can collect at 5pm. i might go for this, if you've seen my wheels you'll understand....

I Just wanted to put my 2 pence worth in. I basically wanted to say thank God for this forum. I have owned my Z for just over 3 years (having a 200sx before). I used to travel to a great Nissan garage up near Luton to get my car seviced but after the service manager (who done my car personally) left, I had no confidence in the sevice people left there. I spent the the next 2 years tring to find a descent mechanic who knows the Z without thinking it's just a car. I came across this forum about 3 months ago and I've come across people who care about there cars and who works on them. My car is in with Darren at the moment and from what people (especially Steve) say about Dar…

Im currently thinking about buying a 300zx tt to replace my pulsar gtir, anyway what kind of things should i keep an eye out for ? is leather worth more, any other options that i might come across, is an import better/worse than a uk car ? what is the current asking price for a non/low modded 91-92 tt and is there anything in particular i should stay away from ?? Thanks in advance Neil Langley

Hi, I've got a 300zx Fairlady Z NA short wheel base (2 seats) and whenever I tell anyone the chassis number (Z32-000164) they don't recognise it as a valid one. Apparently I should have some letters before the Z32 bit. Does anyone else out there have a car in the same configuration as mine? Do you have any problems with people not being able to give you definite answers because of the strange chassis number? Cheers, Andy

Stunning lack of interest so far in my Z which is still for sale ! Over £25,000 spent - with receipts. 100% reliable. I'm not looking for silly money so make me an offer ! Including private plate (???? 300) and radar/laser/gatso detector fully installed (i.e. not on top of dash!) that really works ! See www.davehairs.freeserve.co.uk for full spec. Email me (dave@davehairs.freeserve.co.uk) or call on 07778 650279. Dave

After installing my new cat back exhuast my z seams to smoke a bit more than before. Is this a sign that the turbos are on there way out. Are there any obvious signs of this? After I give the car some stick it does seem to go away. However I used it earlier and took it for a drive, it got up to normal temperature, then after stopping the engine for a few minutes and starting it again it smoked quite badly for a while. Am I being paranoid or have I got some open wallet surgery coming? Is this a common problem with these cars? As a matter of interest what is the cost of new turbos and how much to install? Who do you recommend as the best make to go…

Can't believe it. I searched all over the US but found it here in Stockholm! These were the last 2 titanium keys in Sweden. There was one big problem though...they were already cut! I compared them to my key and in only one spot the key was cut a bit deeper than mine. I took the chance... Got them for half the normal price (2 keys for ~$100). I went to a lock smith and he said it wouldn't work...I said I'll try anyway... Got home and with a shaking hand inserted the key and turned it NO PROBLEM!! Woohoo! It fits all the locks on the car! Guess today is my lucky day :-) Here's a pic: The funny thing is that I've got the key replica from that "F8…

I have an old 300zx automatic, she has done 105,000 miles, and was on the road until the end of January this year until her TAX ran out and I do not have the time to fix the broken windscreen wiper on the drivers side for the MOT, She does still drive, infact driving around is the one thing she has always done without fault, however she only got used on the weekends down on the Isle Of Wight. So Parts Or Repair? interested? Email jga.taylor@btinternet.com OR Call 07974371912

From my ealier post you may not be surprised to know that I have 4 std wheels for sale, good condition, tyres knackered, and a pair of front std calipers. Anyone interested?
-
Those of you with bigger front brakes will know that the spare wheel is only of use if you get a puncture/bend a rim in the rear tyres. So.......did you keep the spare tyre to cover for the rear tyres only, or did you ditch it, save a bunch of kgs/ make room for the sub, and pray you never have a puncture? In my experience punctures tend to be slow punctures anyway. What did you do?
-
it is on my birthday, and in east london. Currently 4 places spare. Outside circuit, 950m, 75mph, twin engine, 45 minute flat out race, bbq afterwards. f1city price is £116 all in. A couple of family and close friends cant make it, hence the places. If you are interested, email me craig@avnet.co.uk, and i'll fill you in. Only downside is payment due almost immediately.
